Situated in Dubailand, Liwan is a freehold development at the intersection of Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Dubai – Al Ain Road (E66). The nearest metro station is Rashidiya, which is 14 minutes away. There is a public bus route from Rashidiya metro station that connects to the community borders. It is a long walk from the bus stop to the residential part of Liwan. It is recommended to commute through taxi or your own vehicle.

Currently, Liwan does not have many parks but there are many in neighbouring areas. For instance, Central Park is reachable in a 9-minute drive, Dubai Silicon Park is 10 minutes away and Eastland Park in Motor City and Dubai Miracle Garden are both a 14-minute drive away.

Despite the fact that the locality of Liwan is well-connected to most areas of the city, it is comparatively difficult to commute to far-off areas that are not covered by public transportation.
