The villas in this gated community come in 3-6 bedroom configurations and each property comes with its own garden. There is also the Al Andalus enclave within Jumeirah Golf Estates featuring apartments and townhouses in a beautiful hill town.
In terms of renting, prices for a 4-bedroom house starts at AED 210k and goes up to AED 700k for a 6-bedroom furnished mansion. For freehold buyers looking to invest in this high-end area will find that villas in Jumeirah Golf Estates range from AED 2M to AED 6M and can go up to AED 32M for the ultra-luxurious custom built units.

Transportation and Parking Spaces in Jumeirah Golf Estates
Jumeirah Golf Estates is not serviced by public transport. The closest metro station is Damac Properties, 25 minutes away by car; the nearest bus stop would be in neighbouring Dubai Production City. To get to Jumeirah Golf Estates it would be best to take a taxi from Damac Properties. Since it is a gated community you would have to rely on Uber or Careem to leave the neighbourhood.
As for parking, the neighbourhood has ample parking in the country club for visitors. Each villa comes with its own garage and there is also street parking available.

Supermarkets in Jumeirah Golf Estates
There is only a Fairway The Marketplace by Choitrams available for the area, it is a medium-sized supermarket but is loved by the community due to the unique items it stocks. For larger grocery hauls you would have to venture down to City Centre Me'siam in Production City which has a gigantic Carrefour Hypermarket. There are other smaller supermarket chains and grocery stores throughout neighbouring Production City and Sports City.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN JUMEIRAH GOLF ESTATES
There is one mosque as a part of the Al Andalus community of Jumeirah Golf Estates. It has recently been constructed and has spacious parking available, in Ramadan, they host an iftar tent for 300 people. There is another mosque located on the border of JGE and Production City but that is further away and outside of the neighbourhood.
The International Nepalese Community Church in Jebel Ali is 25 minutes away by car. If you'd rather head to St Mary's Catholic Church in Oud Mehta, that would be a 30-minute drive.
For Hindu residents, they can visit the Hindu temple: Gurunanak Darbar Sikh Gurudwara. It is a 30-minute drive away in Jebel Ali.
SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES IN JUMEIRAH GOLF ESTATES
Nearby nursery's include, The Wonder Years Nursery and Jumeirah International Nursery, both are within a 20-minute radius and follow the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) syllabus.
For slightly older children, Victory Heights Primary School in Sports City is a resident favourite. It offers the UK curriculum up to Year 6. This option would be a short 5-minute drive from Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Notable high school options include GEMS Wellington International Academy. It has received an outstanding rating from the KHDA (annual governmental review for schools) consecutively for the last eight years. It offers a range of popular retail and dining options as well as practical utilities such as pharmacies, banking services and more.
A newly opened addition to the area would be First Avenue Mall nearby in Motor City. As a part of Dubai Autodrome, it aims to be an environmentally conscious shopping destination, whilst offering the same perks one would expect to find in a mall.

The crown jewel of the area is the Country Club, which offers many world-class dining options, each establishment has a panoramic terrace overlooking the golf courses. The Flame Tree Restaurant & Grill offers an extensive dinner menu alongside their speciality theme nights throughout the week. You can view the 18th hole of the Fire Course from their terrace. If just watching golf isn't your thing then you can head to The Sports Bar, it displays multiple sports across the multiple tv screens throughout the restaurant. Also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Fresca Delicatessen & Cafe offers a more laidback, relaxed experience with their healthy dining options. This will be your go-to place for juices, salads and other sweet treats.
Neighbouring districts such as Production City and Sports City have a variety of restaurants at different price points which will deliver to Jumeirah Golf Estates. More restaurants will be popping up when the community centre for the Al Andalus district will be completed.
Beaches near Jumeirah Golf Estates
Sadly there is no beach in Jumeirah Golf Estates. The best option would be the beaches in Jumeirah Beach Residence, or Dubai Marina, both a 30-minute drive away. Both of these are well-maintained beaches and offer facilities for the entire family to enjoy.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND NOTABLE LANDMARKS
For sports enthusiasts living in Jumeirah Golf Estates will be a treat.
There is the JGE Golf Academy which has many activities for guest to enjoy. It is home to the Middle East's only European Tour Performance Institute (ETPI), it is a state-of-the-art performance enhancing facility designed to improve the ability of all golfers, regardless of the skill level. As part of the country club, there is also a tennis centre that aims to build a tennis community for residents and non-residents alike. There many tennis and golf tournaments, events and social activities held throughout the year.
While golf is an integral part of the community, there are other activities to enjoy in the area. You have neighbouring Sports City, which is a one-stop shop for most sports, whether you want to learn, watch or play. It is also home to the Dubai International Cricket Stadium which is designed for international cricket tournaments but also doubles as a training ground. Cricket fans looking to try their hand at the sport should head to the International Cricket Council Academy.
Fun places nearby to visit would be Global Village, you get to experience many different cultural pavilions. You can even pick up touristy souvenirs from the worldwide pavillions, eat out and try different cuisines, or hop onto one of their mini theme park rides. Global Village is a seasonal attraction, open normally in the cooler months.

Notable salons and spas include Tips and Toes spa in City Centre Me'aisem, Reflections Spa in Dubai Sports City and Caractere by Dani which has separate side by side options for both ladies and gents. Otherwise, you can also head to the many options in Jumeirah Village Circle which is just a 15-minute drive away.
You can't mention events in Jumeirah Golf Estates without talking about the DP World Tour Championship. It is the climax of the European Tour Race to Dubai. It is contested on the Earth course at the Jumeirah Golf Estates and is the crown jewel for residents of JGE.
The golf club which also has the country club attached is the central community hub, its many luxury amenities make it a resident favourite. There are also many seasonal events mainly aimed at children such as Halloween parties, Christmas fairs, as well as movie and quiz nights.
There will be another community centre opening on the north side of Jumeirah Golf Estates, that will be for the Al Andalus community and will feature many more retail, hospitality and food and beverage options.
For residents, there is a facebook group called "Jumeirah Golf Estates Residents" which discusses all facilities and issues within the community, they also do have occasional meetups to bring a more communal vibe to the neighbourhood.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
Despite being centrally located in "New Dubai" Jumeirah Golf Estates is slightly far away from the city leading you to venture to the close by communities for any other needs not covered by the amenities within the area.
