Nad Al Sheba is best known for housing the Meydan Racecourse, the venue for the prestigious Dubai World Cup. There is quite a bit coming up in this district ever since Nakheel announced plans for a residential community called Nad Al Sheba Villas in proximity to the new Mohammed Bin Rashid City and Meydan. The project is already leasing residential units after completion in 2019. As for the residential side, this neighbourhood features a mix of villas and apartments in different clusters named 1 to 4. Nad Al Sheba 1 is home to the Meydan Hotel, Meydan Racecourse and other recreational amenities.

COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
Nad Al Sheba spans across four sub-districts each with their distinct charm. Nad Al Sheba 1 is the largest community home to the community of Meydan as well. The sub-district is known for the Meydan Hotel, Meydan Racecourse, Nad Al Sheba Cycle Track and more. Most apartment complexes are also concentrated in this part of the town. This Nad Al Sheba Dubai location is further away from its counterparts, bordering the community of Al Quoz 2.

Nad Al Sheba 2 is a quieter district where many private villas are found. It is a family-friendly area. Nad Al Sheba 3 is known to be a school district as it houses many reputable education institutes. It is also the site of the Nad Al Sheba Villas, a project by Nakheel Properties. Nad Al Sheba location is towards the eastern end of Dubai near the emirate of Sharjah. There are a few upcoming projects by Nakheel in Nad Al Sheba 3 and by multiple developers in Nad Al Sheba 1. Nad Al Sheba 1 is located close to Al Quoz and the new Meydan City area. Nad Al Sheba 2 and 3 are close to Ras Al Khor and International City. Nad Al Sheba 4 is located above Dubai Silicon Oasis and Academic City. When complete, Meydan South will also be easy to access from Nad Al Sheba 4.

MALLS IN NAD AL SHEBA
Nad Al Sheba Mall is still under development and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021. The mall will feature numerous shopping, dining and entertainment options. Spinneys and Union Coop are leading supermarket chains set to have their outlets in the mall. There will be dedicated spaces for a cinema, medical clinic and fitness centre inside the Nad Al Sheba Mall.

Currently, residents can visit the Dubai Festival City Mall which is home to the only IKEA furniture store and Robinson’s department store in Dubai. The mall is also home to many entertainment options such as Novo Cinemas, a Fabyland amusement centre and IMAGINE – a dancing water fountain and light show. Dubai Festival City Mall is under 15 minutes from the mall. There is also a large branch of Hard Rock Cafe outside the mall.

Most of Nad Al Sheba’s restaurants are found in the Meydan Hotel. Farriers, Prime Steakhouse and Shiba Restaurant and Bar are popular options. The Track Restaurant is a fine-dining option that is connected to the Meydan golf course.
More casual restaurants include Healthy Bowl, Zero Four Speciality Coffee and Al Ain Way Restaurant. Fast food outlets such as KFC and Pizza Hut are also present at the EPPCO Petrol Station near Nad Al Sheba.

BEACHES NEAR NAD AL SHEBA

It is easy to reach the beautiful sandy beaches of Dubai from Nad Al Sheba. The much-talked-about Jumeirah Beach is almost 22-minutes away from the area. For kitesurfers, there is no other place like Kite Beach. It is a massive white sandy stretch and it takes about 22-minutes to reach there.

Formerly known as Nad Al Sheba Racecourse, the landmark was built back in 1986 and refurbished in 2010 under its new name. It now hosts the prestigious Dubai World Cup.
