Direct access to 2nd December Street (formerly known as Al Diyafah Street) and Al Hudaiba Street on the other side make Al Badaa a bustling neighbourhood with many facilities on these happening roads, right in proximity. There are local eateries and cafeterias, international restaurants, shisha cafes and a number of recreational areas as well as shopping centres. Moreover, residents enjoy quick accessibility to the pristine beaches including Lamer, Mercato and the public beach of Jumeirah.

Al Badaa is located in western Dubai where one can find many tourist attractions. It is a residential area with apartments, villas and few townhouses offered for rent only, for expats. For preschoolers, there is Salma Al Ansari Elementary School, Kids Campus Nursery, Safari Kids Nursery, British Berries Nursery and Safa Early Learning Centre.

Al Badaa Dubai is often referred to as a sub-community of Al Wasl as both the areas are closely connected. This small town in Dubai is surrounded by key residential and commercial districts. To the east of Al Badaa is Jumeirah 1, while towards the west is the community of Al Satwa. Moreover, Al Hudaiba is found towards the north and Al Jaffiliya further north-east.

The community malls of Jumeirah such as Jumeirah Plaza, Palm Strip Mall, Town Centre Jumeirah and more are a short drive away. Al Badaa was built to mainly cater to families. There are two parks in this small community, Al Badaa Park and Al Wasl Park which are family favourites. Al Satwa Park is also nearby. All of these parks have play areas for children, shaded areas and dedicated walkways.

Apart from recreational spots, the area has a number of gyms. Star Gym is the closest which is adjacent to both the communities of Al Satwa and Al Badaa. Other than that, Fit Inc, Crowne Fitness Studio, My30 Minutes Gym and Engine Health and Fitness are within a short drive.

There are four salons right around the residential community. Splendid Ladies Beauty Salon and Spa, Caryusa Ladies Salon, My Dream Ladies Beauty Salon and Spa are solely for ladies while Huracan Men Care is the only salon for men. There are many other salons and spas in the neighbouring areas of Al Satwa and Jumeirah 1 as well. Al Badaa is a small area, but it is connected to the most talked about tourist attractions of Dubai and several events happen there. Kite Beach which is less than 20 minutes away has been the venue for several events including The Big City Swim. Apart from Kite Beach, Jumeirah Beach frequently hosts a variety of events throughout the year as well and it is also closely connected to Al Badaa. The nearby Mercato Shopping Mall often has on-going events throughout the year.
