The Sustainable City is one of the popular eco-friendly areas in Dubai. It is situated at the intersection of Al Qudra Road (D63) and Emirates Road (E611). It is the first zero-energy project developed by Diamond Developers and it is divided into 5 clusters. Cluster 2 is one of the residential sub-communities located in the heart of The Sustainable City Dubailand in Dubai.

This self-sustained community follows a three-step approach of focusing on social sustainability, environmental sustainability and economic sustainability. The roof of each unit is fitted with solar panels to generate energy via natural resources. Cluster 2 offers a well-connected transport system that makes commuting a non-issue for residents.

You can also visit the Global Village (15 minutes away), a large multi-cultural park, which offers shopping and dining options from ninety countries across the world. Some features of the Global Village include daily celebrations, a street market and twenty-seven pavilions with new presentations added every year. Global Village only opens for six months a year, from late October to mid-April.
