ABOUT MUDON
Mudon is a gated residential project by Dubai Properties. In Arabic, Mudon means ‘cities’, it was originally a highly ambitious project planned to be three times the size it is now. The original plan was to replicate five ancient Middle Eastern cities – Baghdad, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus and Marrakech – making Mudon one large city within Dubai. Today, the area is a new housing development on the edge of the desert in Dubailand, at the intersection of Al Qudra Road and the Emirates Road (E611). The development is a collection of ready to move in townhouses and villas, with more off-plan additions to be delivered soon. It is also one of the popular areas to buy affordable villas in Dubai.

Mudon Mosque is the main mosque for the area, it offers spacious covered parking. There is the Al Madinah Al Mustadama Masjid which is located at the border of Mudon and The Sustainable City.

St. Gregorios Orthodox Church is the closest church for the residents of this community. There is also the International Nepalese Community Church, both these churches are located in Jebel Ali Village – a short 10-minute drive away. If you’d rather head to St Mary’s Catholic Church, that would be a 25-minute drive.
Currently, there are no temples located in the neighbourhood, but the Sikh gurdwara, Guru Nanak Darbar is a 30-minute drive away.

Despite Mudon being a newer community, it is home to the Jebel Ali School which has been opened since 1978. It offers the UK curriculum until Year 9. The institute is counted among the best schools in Dubai. Also, it has conserved its very good rating from the KHDA inspections for the last 3 years.
Also located in Dubailand is the South View School, which also offers the UK syllabus up to Year 8. As a part of the Dubailand community and easily accessible by Umm Suqeium Street, Mudon sits next to the master development, Arabian Ranches.
