Mudon is a gated residential complex project developed by Dubai Properties. In Arabic, Mudon is known as 'cities', it was originally a highly ambitious project planned to be 3 times the size it is now. The original plan was to replicate five ancient Middle Eastern cities - Baghdad, Beirut, Cairo, Damascus and Marrakech - making Mudon one large city within Dubai.
Today, the area is a new housing development on the edge of the desert in Dubailand, at the intersection of Al Qudra Road and the Emirates Road (E611). Mudon has a collection of ready to move in townhouses and villas, with more off-plan additions to be delivered by 2021.

CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN MUDON
Mudon Mosque is the main mosque for the area, it offers spacious covered parking. There is the Al Madinah Al Mustadama Masjid which is located at the border of Mudon and The Sustainable City.
St. Gregorios Orthodox Church is the closest church for the residents of this community. There is also the International Nepalese Community Church, both these churches are located in Jebel Ali Village - a short 10-minute drive away. If you'd rather head to St Mary's Catholic Church, that would be a 25-minute drive.
Currently, there are no temples located in the neighbourhood, but the Hindu temple Gurunanak Darbar Sikh Gurudwara is a 30-minute drive away.

Despite Mudon being a newer community, it is home to the Jebel Ali School which has been open since 1978. It offers the UK curriculum until Year 9. It has conserved its very good rating from the KHDA inspections for the last 3 years. Also located in Dubailand is the South View School, which also offers the UK syllabus up to Year 8. Next door in Arabian Ranches, only a 5-minute drive away, is the highly reputable Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS), it offers the UK education module till Year 11 and then offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) module for the final 2 years - Grade 12 and 13.
