Public transportation in Meadows 7 Dubai is limited to buses and cabs. Therefore, private conveyance is recommended. However, it is easy to hail a taxi or bus from nearby stations like The Meadows Entrance Gate 7 and The Springs Entrance Gate 2. Both are a 3-minute drive by car.

There are a few options for regular shopping. These include Madinah Grocery, Al Barsha Oasis grocery store, Al Maya Supermarket Marina Branch and Al Maya Supermarket Marina Branch.

Spinneys, the ultimate go-to supermarket has a branch in The Springs community.

Samad Mosque is located in The Town Centre at a 6-minute drive by car. Besides, you can offer your prayers at Masjid Bani Hashim, which is about 9 minutes away.

Jebel Ali Village is home to several churches, Sikh and Hindu temple. Christian residents can head over to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Covenant Hope Church, United Christian Church of Dubai, Dubai Evangelical Church Centre and St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church among others. These are accessible within 16 to 18-minute drive by car.

Guru Nanak Darbar in Jebel Ali is the popular Sikh temple which also takes around 15 minutes to reach. Hindu residents will have to drive for roughly 30 minutes to reach the temples in Bur Dubai.

Mediclinic Meadows is the go-to option for medical emergencies. It is only 9 minutes away. Moreover, residents have the following clinics and hospitals near Meadows 7:

Saudi German Hospital and Al Zahra are 10 to 14 minutes away while it may take longer to reach the latter.

While there are no traditional malls in the area, you can still hang out at the central point of the community, The Meadows Souk. It has all the flavours of a perfect day out with friends – shopping, dining and self-care. Besides retail stores, there is a pet shop, a supermarket and a few jewellers. Other malls near Meadows 7, preferably in the neighbouring localities include:

Pier 7 restaurants are a bit away but the best stop for fine-dining with a view. One may not find many restaurants near Meadows 7 but those mentioned above are well within reach.

With a never-ending list of outdoor activities and peaceful lakes, one hardly wants to leave this place. But those who are fond of beach parties and water sports can head towards JBR Beach near Meadows 7. Besides parasailing and wakeboarding, tourists enjoy beachside dining and shopping.

Address Montgomerie is the most notable highlight of this area. It is a grand championship golf course with a clubhouse and resorts. It also has International restaurants and a cigar lounge. For more leisure activities, one can head towards:

First, Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse is 8 minutes away. It is a preferred fine dining option. Second, Jebel Ali Racecourse is a paradise for all camel race fans. It is 13 minutes away. Last, Al Barsha Pond Park is just opposite Al Barsha Mall. It is a family-favourite place with 50 acres of lush green area, bouncy castles, sports courts, ponds and birds.

All the sub-communities in The Meadows feature landscaped walkways and tracks for cycling, jogging and power walk. Whereas, golfers can go to the Emirates Golf Club or Montgomerie. Those looking for fitness clubs will find:

The Meadows does not host any community events at the moment but a number of festivities are often arranged in the neighbouring community, The Springs. Some popular ones include Ramadan Charity Drive, iftar gathering at the community mosque, Krafty Kids and Community Market.

The Meadows 7 is ideal for those with personal vehicles. If you rely solely on public transport, this might get tricky. However, several bus stations are well within reach. Another point of interest is that this area is one of the few pet-friendly communities in Dubai.
