Jumeirah Islands is a freehold area and a luxurious housing project by Nakheel, a leading property developer in Dubai. It is located between Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT) and Dubai Marina near Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road. There are plenty of mosques in Jumeirah Islands like Masjid Bani Hashim, Masjid Al Wahhab and Samad Mosque at short intervals. Dubai Evangelical Church Centre and United Christian Church are located in Jebel Ali, just 14 minutes from Jumeirah Islands. Similarly, Gurunanak Darbar and Shirdi Sai Baba Temple are less than 15-minutes away from Jumeirah Islands, also in Jebel Ali.
SCHOOLS IN JUMEIRAH ISLANDS
Some of Dubai’s renowned schools are nearby. Dubai British School is a reputable choice for those looking at British curriculum options from pre-nursery to secondary. Emirates International School, Regent International School and Delhi Public School are usually preferred by the Asian community in town. Therefore, parents won't find it hard to find good schools in Jumeirah Islands.
The community is also close to The American University in Dubai and the many university options in Knowledge Park.

POPULAR COMMUNITIES IN JUMEIRAH ISLAND
There aren’t any sub-communities in Jumeirah Islands since it is a cluster of 50 man-made islands. However, there is an area dedicated to commercial and leisure spots known as Jumeirah Islands Pavilion. It is basically a shopping centre with restaurants and entertainment options. All the beauty salons, fitness clubs and dry cleaners are in this area.
The residential side is just separated by clusters of different architectural designs. European Cluster is inspired by Spanish and French styles of the 17th century with geometric gardens. Mediterranean Cluster is the elite gated community with walkways and bridges connected to other clusters. Oasis villas are those that have richest flora and fauna while Tropical Cluster villas are usually elegant units settled amidst lakes. The Islamic Cluster as the name suggests is inspired by Moroccan, Ottoman, and Abbasi architectural styles.
Located directly above Jumeirah Islands is the community of Jumeirah Heights. Contrary to the name, the area consists of six low-rise apartment buildings. Jumeirah Islands is also close to Jumeirah Park, a similar villa community, both Jumeirah Park and Jumeirah Heights are developed by Nakheel Properties. The Emirates Living communities developed by Emaar are also close by. These include The Springs, The Meadows and Emirates Hills.
SHOPPING, DINING AND NIGHTLIFE
Most of the residents in Jumeirah Islands find that a key factor of its appeal lies in its quiet environment. The neighbourhood has many walkways and green spaces while still being settled in the city. There are many leisure spots, key landmarks and commercial areas located at a distance of a short drive.
MALLS IN JUMEIRAH ISLANDS
For those who would like to stay in the community can head to The Pavillion, the community centre for Jumeirah Islands. It has a number of shopping outlets and casual eateries for residents to enjoy. Apart from this, Dubai Marina Mall is just 9-minutes away, it has a cinema, Waitrose supermarket and many other amenities. There are also many restaurants offering waterfront views in Dubai Marina Mall. Other nearby malls include Ibn Battuta Mall in the Discovery Gardens district and Mall of the Emirates in the Al Barsha community. Both of these malls are well-known and offering many retail, dining and entertainment options.

There are quite a few restaurants in Jumeirah Islands. Fast food outlet Wendy’s and the casual Chinese restaurant, The Monk are highly favoured, as they are located close by in The Meadows. Pitfire Pizza, The Cavendish Restaurant and Monty’s are also located in neighbouring areas offering a mix of continental cuisines and fast food. If you are craving for authentic Asian food, Wokyo Noodle Bar is the place to be in JLT.
BEACHES NEAR JUMEIRAH ISLANDS
Residents of Jumeirah Islands are never away from sandy beaches. Not to mention, the islands are surrounded by water figures, so you would hardly want to leave your town. But if you must, you get plenty of options nearby such as the JBR Beach, Marina Beach and the associated beach resorts.

Living in these islands is an extravagant experience. Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa and the amazing views of Palm Jumeirah are all in proximity. It can be hard to find good eateries in Jumeirah Islands, but plenty of them are situated in JLT which isn’t far away. The town focuses on having a serene and peaceful environment. Therefore, it is preferred by families or working professionals.
