Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque is considered one of the largest and one of the most beautiful mosques in Dubai, which can accommodate around 2000 worshippers. Eleutheria Community Church and City Hill Church Dubai are located within an 8 km radius, a 10 to 12-minute drive away. The Fellowship Dubai Church and Emirates Baptist Church International (EBCI) are also a 16-minutes drive away from the area.

The Hindu temples near Jumeirah 3 are Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, ShrinathJi Temple, Shree Krishna Haveli and Shiva Temple. All these temples are located on Al Fahidi Street, a little further away from the area and require a 20-minute drive from Jumeirah 3.  The closest temples Mahamevnawa Buddhist Temple, which is located alongside Jumeirah Road (D94) and Baba Temple located alongside Al Wasl Road (D92) are just an 11 to 13-minutes drive from the area. For the Sikh community, Gurudwara Al Aweer is a distance of the 20-minute drive.

Located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, there are a number of beaches near Jumeirah 3. The most popular beaches located on Jumeirah Road include Sufouh Beach, Kite Beach and Jumeirah Beach.

JBR Beach is located farther south of the area, at a 22-minute drive, and is closer to many restaurants and hotels. In addition to providing a happy, fun environment to residents, all of these beaches include recreational activities such as cruising, swimming, fishing, and snorkelling. Jumeirah Beach, just 7-minutes away, provides great fitness facilities such as jogging and cycling tracks and a few fine-dining options.

There is also a historical monument, Majlis Ghorfat Umm Al Sheif, which is just 6-minutes away from Jumeirah 3. The building was established long before the majestical rise of Dubai, by Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, in the midst of palm and ocean, and served as his summer retreat. Now a tourist attraction, it is preserved and maintained by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.

Wild Wadi Waterpark is in Umm Suqeim 3. The time distance depends on where you live in Jumeirah 3, the farthest would be an 11-minute drive from this outdoor waterpark. Based on the theme of Arabian folklore this adventurous waterpark offers altogether 30 exciting rides for the whole family alike.

Enjoying the coastal location, there are many fun activities to choose from for the residents of Jumeirah 3. A lot of themed parks and beaches offer kite surfing lessons, water skiing, jet skiing, scuba diving and surfing.
