How to Apply to GEMS Jumeirah Primary School?

GEMS Jumeriah Primary School is an inclusive school open for students of all backgrounds and nationalities. It follows the GEM’s vision of inclusive education to attain excellence together by uniting people with diverse experiences. All the GEMS schools, including GEMS JPS, has a virtual admission centre to assist parents.

The admission application process starts with an online registration form. Parents will need to fill in the form and submit it with relevant documentation. The documents required for this process are:

  • A copy of the child’s passport
  • Last academic record for admission in the primary stage
  • Nursery report for admission in the foundation stage
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs

After receiving an offer letter from the school, parents have to submit the following additional documents:

  • A copy of the child’s residency visa
  • A copy of the child’s birth certificate (attested if the child belongs to a country other than the UAE)
  • A copy of the child and parents’ Emirates ID card
  • Complete information including educational psychologist’s report for students with special needs (if applicable)
  • Document on all vaccinations and immunizations
  • Transfer certificate

By providing the required documents and paying AED 500 as a registration fee, parents can register students for the assessment test. The decision on admission depends upon the success of the assessment test. Please bear in mind that the admission will only be guaranteed after the availability of seats.

Transfer certificate must have the following information:

  • Full name of the child
  • Date of birth of the child
  • Date of enrolment of the child
  • Curriculum studied
  • Date of the child leaving the school
  • Principal’s signature and school stamp

Children who have studied outside the UAE need to attest the transfer certificate from the Ministry of Education (country of transfer), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations (country of transfer) and UAE Embassy (country of transfer).

GEMS Jumeirah Primary School does not offer any lunch or snack option on their own, as they have no canteen. The school encourages parents to pack homemade lunches for their children. In addition, the school has a healthy eating and hygiene policy ensuring that students take responsibility for their hygiene before and after lunch.

Medical Care at GEMS Jumeirah Primary School
