ABOUT DISTRICT 1D
District 1 is one of the nine districts in the Jumeirah Village Triangle (JVT). It is an ideal project of Nakheel Properties, master-planned in the centre of the city and wedged between Al Khail Road (E44) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311).
Each district in the area has several blocks and is home to residential villas. Block D in District 1 is one such, featuring luxurious villas and several amenities close by.

Properties in District 1D consist of detached villas that come in various configurations. However, the most popular bed type in the area is the 2-bedroom villas. The standalone, terraced villas in the area come with a large outdoor space with an expected area range of 3,000 sq. ft.
TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING SPACES IN DISTRICT 1D
Parking spaces in District 1D are found inside the villas. Residents can easily park up to two cars. Parking on the streets is also allowed in the community.
Public Transportation in District 1D
Public transportation near District 1D is a bit difficult to track down if you are travelling on foot. One can reach the Discovery Garden 9 bus stop in just 9-minutes worth of driving.

SUPERMARKETS IN DISTRICT 1D
The nearest supermarket from the block is Danat Express Supermarket in JVT, worth a 3-minutes drive. Another is F Mart Supermarket also covers the same distance.
MOSQUES IN DISTRICT 1D
Samad Mosque in The Springs community and JVT Mosque are both situated at a 5-minute distance via car. Masjid Wahid is another grand Mosque, located 9-minutes away.
OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP NEAR DISTRICT 1D
Churches near District 1D are within a 9 to 11-minute drive in Jebel Ali Village where you will find some of the best churches in Dubai. Some notable ones include St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Christ Church Jebel Ali.
Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara is a Sikh temple which is not far from the area, covering a driving distance of only 9-minutes. Hindu Temple in Jebel Ali is located within the same driving distance and it’s the nearest temple to facilitate the Hindu community.

Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) is just opposite Al Khail Road (E44) running alongside the west side of the community. The areas located across the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) are Dubai Production City, Dubai Sports City and Dubai Investments Park (DIP), towards the southern side. Emirates Hills and its many communities such as The Springs, The Meadows and The Greens are situated towards the northern end of JVT.

There are several shopping destinations you will find in the neighbourhood, a couple of notable malls near District 1D include:

It is a massive mall with more than 4000 parking spaces. The mall offers a refreshing experience and is available just 11-minutes of drive from District 1D JVT.
City Center Me’aisem is a relatively more minor mall but you will find a range of famous brands like H&M, Claire’s and Aldo here. It is available in just 8-minutes of driving.

BEACHES NEAR DISTRICT 1D
Located at a maximum drive of 20-minutes, beach lovers can visit beaches near District 1D. A few notable ones include Jumeirah Beach, Kite Beach, Marina Beach and Umm Suqeim Public Beach. For a glowing tan and a variety of activities such as surfing, paddle boarding and volleyball one can visit the kite beach, located at a 21-minute drive.

Living in District 1D, JVT you won’t find any metro stations nearby, but other than this fact it offers all the basic facilities in proximity. The location is ideal for travelling via private vehicle and offers property at affordable prices.
