Jumeirah Village Circle follows the pattern of most residential hubs in the city with several mosques to cater to the spiritual needs of the community. The prominent mosques in JVC include JVC Masjid and the Mosque in Prime Business Centre. The closest church to those living in JVC is the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Tecom and the nearest temples are the Krishna and Shiva temples in Bur Dubai, roughly 20 minutes away.

One of the reasons Jumeirah Village Circle has grown into such a family-friendly community is the abundance of educational options available to parents with school going children. JSS International School which opened its doors here in 2017, appears to be the most popular of the schools in JVC, it offers the Indian curriculum until Year 12. Other noteworthy schools nearby include Sunmarke School and the Nord Anglia International School, both options are based on the UK curriculum and offer the full Year 13 syllabus. If you have smaller children, there are several reliable nurseries and early education centres in the area. Notable options include Kids World Nursery, Ladybird Early Learning Centre and Jumeirah International Nursery. 

For those looking at university options, will find that the reputable options in Knowledge Village such as The British University Dubai, University of Wollongong Dubai and Herriot Watt Dubai. All these are just under 15 minutes away from JVC. The options in Dubai International Academic City are slightly further away with a 25-minute drive.

Clinics and Hospitals in JVC

Medical services are not a concern for the residents of the area, many rely on the Karama Medical Centre in JVC to address most ailments.  For larger multi-speciality hospitals in JVC the Emirates Hospital Day Surgery in Motor City and the MediClinic Park View Hospital on Umm Suqeim road are nearby. Both options are just 15 minutes away, while further away is the Saudi German Hospital in Al Barsha, 20 minutes away.

THINGS TO CONSIDER

Life in Jumeirah Village Circle is quiet, pleasant and unassuming for the most part. Like all other decisions we take, there are a few things to consider if you are considering moving to JVC. The area has several projects under construction and can be quite noisy as a result. The dust from this construction is another thing to consider if you are allergic. The area is also currently not accessible by the metro. This makes it rather challenging for those depending on public transportation.
