ABOUT DISTRICT 14
An emerging neighbourhood, Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) is a freehold master community developed by Nakheel. It is composed of ten districts that are homogeneously arranged in a radial pattern. These districts are numbered from 10 to 19. District 14 lies in the south-western region of JVC between Lazuward and Bijada Boulevard. It is also close to the Al Khail Road (E44) and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) intersection. District 14 features a combination of established and under-construction housing projects. There are three neighbourhood mosques near District 14 but they are present in the northern districts, around a six-minute drive away. Saleh Mohammed Bin Lahej Mosque is based near the park in district 10. Masjid JVC is present in District 16.
OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP NEAR DISTRICT 14
Casa de Oración Torre Fuerte is the nearest church located on Al Khail Street. Driving to it will require a duration of 10 minutes. Other churches near District 14 are at a distance of 13 to 15 minutes. These are Haley's Church, Emirates Baptist Church, Seventh Day Adventist Church and Fellowship: A Christian Church in Dubai.
It will take at least 15 minutes to reach Gurunanak Darbar Sikh Gurudwara, one of the temples near District 14. It is located to the west. Other temples are located farther towards the central areas of the city. These include Jain Temple, Automech Gurudwara, Shiridi Sai Baba Mandir and Mahamevnawa Buddhist Temple.

Factors that make District 14 a popular sub-area are community facilities, road infrastructure and easy access to the main road. However, the on-going construction in the area can be inconvenient to those specifically living right next to the site. Nevertheless, District 14 is set to provide a self-contained environment to its residents once the community reaches its completion stage.
