JSS International School Curriculum

JSS International School, Dubai follows teaching methods based on the Council of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (CICSE). It is one of the two Indian curriculums that are taught in popular Indian schools around the world, including the UAE. The school has enriched the programme with values that make it ideal for a diverse group of students.

While English is the medium of instruction, learning Arabic is mandatory for all students. Native speakers of Arabic are taught the more intensive Arabic curriculum than non-native speakers as per the directives of the Ministry of Education (MoE).

Primary Stage

For Grades 1 to 5, the school curriculum focuses on multiple skill development. The curriculum and teaching pedagogy help students in cultivating critical thinking and creativity skills. Admission and Fees

How to Apply to JSS International School?

The admission process at JSS International School is straightforward. JSS International School accepts online admission applications. Parents need to apply online by creating an account on the school’s website.

An email is sent entailing necessary information for the admission process along with the link to the admission portal. After logging into the provided link, parents need to fill in the applicant’s details along with the following required documents:

  • A copy of the parents’ passports with a valid residence visa for the UAE
  • A copy of the parents’ Emirates ID card
  • Three copies of the applicant’s immunisation record
  • Three copies of the applicant’s birth certificate (attested by the concerned consulate if not in English)
  • Three copies of the applicant’s passport with a valid residence visa for the UAE
  • Two stamp-sized and Eight passport-sized photographs of the applicant
  • Copies of previous academic records from KG2 onwards
  • Transfer certificate

Please note that the requirements for a transfer certificate vary depending upon the region of the previous school. These requirements are:

  • From other Emirates in UAE – attested by the Ministry of Education of that Emirate
  • From GCC – attested by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Indian Embassy and UAE Consulate in that country
  • From India – attested by the Education Officer of the area or the Regional Officer (if studies in a CBSE or CICSE school) and the seal and signature must be verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Indian Consulate in Dubai.
