Tucked away from the city’s traffic, Sharjah Garden City is a family-friendly residential area. There are spacious properties in the district along with all urban amenities like family parks, cycling tracks, jogging tracks and play areas for children. One can also spot numerous fine-dining restaurants, retail stores and recreational hubs in proximity.

The villa complex features 82 villas and a few townhouses. 2-bedroom townhomes spread across 1,885 sq. ft. and feature an open living space, four en-suite bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a dedicated parking space.

The area is not fully developed; therefore, lacks mosques. The nearest mosque is the Sharjah Mosque at an 18-minute drive. It is also a popular tourist attraction. The beautiful architecture is perfectly complemented by an elegant Turkish interior. It can accommodate up to 25,000 worshipers at a time. Other mosques in the vicinity are Al Fat’h Al Mobeen Mosque, Warsan Mosque and Al Salaf Al Salah Mosque.

Since the community is still developing, most schools near Sharjah Garden City are a little away. Some prominent names like GEMS Founders School, Brilliant International Private School and Sharjah Ambassador School are a 25-minute drive away.

GEMS Founders School in the well-planned neighbourhood of Al Barsha was launched in 2016. It is an affordable school in the vicinity taking students from the Foundation Stage to Grade 6. Likewise, Brilliant International Private School is one of the best English schools in Sharjah. They offer the British curriculum.

For toddlers, there are some of the popular nurseries nearby. Creative Nest Nursery, British Orchard Nursery and Desert Roses Nursery are about a half-hour drive.

For medical care, residents can head to some of the popular clinics in the neighbouring areas. Mediclinic Mirdif, Thumbay Clinic and Access Clinic are all located at about a 30-minute drive. Mediclinic Mirdif is in Mirdif with modern medical service and experienced staff. Thumbay Clinic is another popular clinic close by. Aster Clinic and Dubai London Clinic are also in proximity.

Around 20 minutes away from Buhaira Corniche, the community is situated on Maliha Road close to Sharjah’s arterial highways and commercial hubs. The serene and suburban area is accessible via Emirates Road (E611). Commuters can get to the emirate of Dubai and the Sharjah International Airport in just 15 minutes.

Residents who drive can always access the best malls in Sharjah conveniently. They also enjoy easy accessibility to most community centres in Dubai. There is Warqa Mall in the community of Al Warqa 26 minutes away from Garden City Sharjah. Moreover, The Pavilion in International City is another popular option. The community centre has a lot to offer such as a supermarket, a restaurant, numerous shopping brands and children’s play area. One can visit the Safeer Market and Arabian Center for a great shopping experience.

For fine-dining, residents will have to drive for about 40 minutes. Ananta, Tresind Dubai and Billionaire Mansion & Sumosan Dubai are a 38-minute drive from the district.

Being an inland area, there are no beaches in Garden City Sharjah. One has to travel for a whole 45 minutes to get to Dubai’s popular beaches. One popular option is Jumeirah Public Beach. It is a perfect retreat for those who enjoy downtime in the sun. People can go swimming, surfing, running or cycling on the dedicated tracks. Popular beaches in Sharjah at about a 36-minute drive from the community are Al Mamzar Beach and Al Khan Beach. There is a wide range of activities at Al Mamzar Beach Park for kids and adults to enjoy.

The nearest leisure spot is Desert Safari. One can book tours and enjoy a fun-filled experience in the desert. There are live entertainment shows, free camel rides, dune drive and buffet barbeque dinner for visitors. It is just a 17-minute drive away.

Another popular attraction is the Sharjah Desert Park. It is one of the best places to visit for those interested in learning about the history. The park showcases traditional Arabian culture with flora and fauna adding more beauty. One can also find a zoo in the park with four exclusive venues- Sharjah Botanical Museum, Arabia’s Wildfire Centre, Children’s Farm and Sharjah Natural History Museum.

Other attractions at a 20-minute drive are Sharjah National Park and Sharjah Classic Cars Museum.

Fitness freaks will have to travel a bit to get to some of the popular fitness centres in the vicinity. Texas Gym and Fitness Terminal Men’s Gym are a 20-minute drive away from the area. Fitness Power Gym for women is also located at about a 30-minute drive.

Popular parks in the neighbourhood are Al Bataeh Ladies Park, Al Awir Second Park and Lehbab First Park. They are located at about a 21-minute drive.

Garden City Sharjah is fairly a new community and has its perks. The area is quite serene offering a peaceful environment to its residents. The properties are spacious with numerous facilities. However, the infrastructure is still developing and most amenities are a bit far. Also, the area has limited access to public transportation so one has to rely on their cars to move around.

Garden City is the newest suburban community in Sharjah. It is located on Maliha Road.
