Commuting is not a problem for people relying on public transport, as several bus stops are located on Al Safa Street at a 2-minute walking distance. C14, 28, 81 and 7 buses stop at the nearest bus stop Dubai Petroleum Corporation 1.

Other transportations near City Walk includes the option of a metro station. Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro Station is just an 8–minute drive from the area. Those who prefer driving will find Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) to be reachable in under 10 minutes.

These temples are located close to the area, making Mahamevnawa Buddhist Temple the closest option, available in a 10-minute drive. Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Gurudwara is located 22 minutes away. Al Safa Street offers direct access to City Walk. If you are using public transport, you can take the Red Line and get off at the Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa Metro Station, from there you can hail a cab. The approximate walking distance from the metro to City Walk is 10 minutes.

If you are driving from any other area in Dubai, take a turn on to Happiness Street from Sheikh Zayed Road/Al Safa Street, to reach City Walk.
