Al Rahba is a residential community on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi. Though it’s still in the developmental phase, the area is widely known for its apartments for rent and sale. A popular highway, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road runs through the community and links the neighbourhood to other major areas of Abu Dhabi. The community of Al Samha lies to the north of Al Rahba. Other popular neighbourhoods such as Al Raha Beach and Hydra Village are a short drive away.

Al Rahba is a development featuring residential, retail and recreational facilities. Its ideal location connects residents to various popular neighbourhoods in Abu Dhabi. The community is an ideal choice for those who travel to Dubai frequently. Also, Al Rahba houses many amenities including schools, clinics and supermarkets for a comfortable living.

Properties in Al Rahba include apartments in 2, 3 and 4-bedroom configurations. A 2-bedroom apartment is usually spread across 1,000 sq. ft. while 3-bedroom units have covered areas of 2,500 sq. ft.  A 4-bedroom apartment has covered areas going up to 2,363 sq. ft.  These spacious units have a large living area and a huge balcony offering community views. Some apartments also come with a maid’s room and a laundry room.

As stated earlier, one can rent apartments in Al Rahba starting from AED 55k. Villas for rent in Al Rahba are also available at affordable prices.

Interested investors can buy apartments in Al Rahba. The sales price of a 3-bedroom apartment is about AED 2M while it increases to AED 2.4M for a 4-bedroom unit.

One can also buy villas in Al Rahba. The cost of a 4-bedroom villa is about AED 4.5M.

Parking in Al Rahba is easily available for residents. Each apartment building has underground parking. Similarly, street parking is also available for visitors.

Residents relying on public transportation in Al Rahba can use buses and taxis. The closest bus station, Al Rahba Market South, is at a 2-minute walking distance. Bus 222 and 224 service the area. Online cabs are also easily available.

There are several grocery stores and supermarkets in Al Rahba. The community’s popular, Al Rahba Supermarket is a go-to option for residents. Other local options such as Abu Gaith Baqala, Bu Hassa Grocery and Al Shalila’s Beach Grocery are all located at a short drive. For bulk shopping, residents can visit Carrefour in Deerfeilds Mall or Lulu Express in Al Raha Mall.

The closest church near Al Rahba is the CSI Parish Abu Dhabi located at a 5-minute drive. Another option is the New Life Church located at an 11-minute drive. It is located in the Heritage Hall in Emirates Park Zoo.

The area has numerous mosques at small distances. Al Baraa Bin Malik Al Ansari Masjid and Sheikh Hamed Bin Butti Al Hamid Mosque are located at a 3-minute drive away. Other mosques such as Ahnaf bin Qais Mosque, ADNOC Mosque and Abdulla Karam Mosque are also located nearby.

There are no temples in proximity. Gurunanak Darbar is a 40-minute drive away from the region.

There are a few popular schools in Al Rahba. Al Rahba Primary School for Girls is just a 3-minute drive away. Moza Bint Buti School, Halima Al Sa’adeya School and Al Reef Girls School for Basic Education are other popular schools nearby.

Nurseries near Al Rahba are an 8-minute drive away. Some popular options are Sweet Baby Nursery, Barney Home Nursery Al Bahia City and Al Dana Nursery.

One can find several clinics in Al Rahba. Metro International Medical Centre is just a 7-minute drive away. Tabarak Medical Poly Clinic, Tajmeel Kid’s Park Medical Centre and Noor Al Shifa Medical Center are almost 10 minutes away. Al Rahba Hospital located within the community is amongst the best government hospitals in Abu Dhabi. Burjeel Medical Center in Al Bahia is also located nearby.

To the north of Al Rahba is the new residential development called Al Samha. One can find Abu Mreikhah towards east. Other popular neighbouring areas in the vicinity are Al Raha Beach, Yas Island and Al Shahama.

The community itself does not have big malls. However, residents can head to some of the popular malls near Al Rahba. Featuring a variety of stores, Deerfields Mall is just a 12-minute drive away. It is a complete shopping and entertainment destination with multiple shops, indoor and outdoor dining options and a 14-screen Cineplex. Deerfields also houses Burjeel Medical Centre. Yas Mall is another popular option located at a 15-minute drive.

One can enjoy a variety of cuisine at restaurants in Al Rahba. Local options at a 3-minute drive are Crispy Burger, Jabal Al Noor Restaurant and Star of Al Rahba Cafeteria. To enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, one can head to Broccoli Pizza & Pasta in 7 minutes. Silver Hill, Al Abbadi Restaurant and Tea Break are also part of the local eateries. Fast-food options like Popeyes, KFC and Burger King are located nearby.

Most beaches near Al Rahba are at about a half-hour drive. Al Bahia Open Beach is at about a 20-minute drive. Residents can have a luxurious beach experience at Yas Island and Al Raha Beach, which are about a 30-minute drive away.

There are several attractions and notable landmarks in the community. Zayed National Museum is located at a 5-minute drive. The museum narrates the story of the late H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Emirates Park Zoo is an 11-minute drive away. The wildlife park and zoo is home to several animals. You can be part of the elephant and giraffe-feeding sessions and witness bird-of-prey shows.

Residents can find Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi at a 20-minute drive.

Residents can enjoy their evening strolls or morning jog sessions at several parks near Al Rahba. Al Rahba Park is located within the community at a 3-minute drive away. Women and kids can head to Al Shareea Women and Kids Park. Other parks in the vicinity are Shahama Park and Mohamed Bin Zayed Park.

Fitness freaks can meet their fitness goals at some of the popular gyms near Al Rahba. Hardcore Body Building Club is a popular gym located in just a 5-minute drive. Ambiance Gym Body Building and Stars Body Building Center are a 10-minute drive away.

Al Rahba is a family-friendly community with lots to offer. However, it currently lacks schools and tends to get congested during busy hours.
