I have already renewed my tourist visa once and it is about to expire. My company has started the visa process but I still haven’t got any clarity from them with regards to vis status. Will I be penalised for the same or I can stay in Dubai and there isn’t any need to exit. If I exit will the visa process for the company stop?
Hello Ankit. Thank you for reaching out. We would recommend that you talk to your company pertaining to this issue. The UAE Government gives a grace period of 30 days after the expiry of a visa after which one has to pay a fine for illegally overstaying in the emirate.

Hello Jayasudha,
Thank you for reaching out. No, there is no free visa renewal policy announced by the UAE government; however, there is an exemption for all types of visas expired during the travel ban.
We hope this helps.
