This November, Abu Dhabi will be seeing the opening of the brand-new attraction, CLYMB, which is poised to become the emirate’s coolest adventure hub! Located on Yas Island, CLYMB Abu Dhabi will be a fully indoor attraction where visitors can experience indoor skydiving and climbing like never before.
In true UAE fashion, CLYMB will be setting a couple of world records when it opens. This Abu Dhabi attraction will be home to the world’s largest indoor skydive flight chamber and the world’s tallest climbing wall! It promises to be the perfect destination for thrill-seekers of all skill levels and ages. WHEN IS CLYMB ABU DHABI 2019 OPENING?
UAE residents and tourists will be delighted to know that this brand-new attraction will have its inauguration on Friday, 29 November 2019, and will start welcoming visitors shortly after. The CLYMB Abu Dhabi opening date was pushed back from 2018 due to a fire that had broken out on the construction site. However, CLYMB will soon be ready to welcome rock-climbing and skydiving enthusiasts with a host of experiences and attractions.

WHAT CAN YOU DO AT CLYMB?
Poised to become one of the coolest indoor activities in Abu Dhabi, there’s plenty to do at the CLYMB on Yas Island.
INDOOR SKYDIVING
Adrenaline-seekers will love this new Yas Island attraction, as it’s home to the world’s tallest and widest flight chamber! The CLYMB flight chamber is an extraordinary 32-feet wide and 82-feet wide, offering a thrilling indoor skydiving experience like no other. It also uses 16 powerful fans instead of the standard four, making you soar to newer heights.
CLYMB Abu Dhabi offers packages for first-time flyers with pre-flight training, gear rental and one-on-one instruction, as well as options for more experienced, regular flyers, too! Find out more below in the tickets section.
INDOOR CLIMBING
Ever wanted to go rock climbing in Abu Dhabi? CLYMB Abu Dhabi also offers five climbing walls of various difficulty levels and heights, including the chance to scale the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall! Standing at 141 feet in height, The SUMMYT is a record-breaking expert-level climbing wall like no other with 13 challenging routes to conquer.
The other climbing walls cater to different ability levels, such as beginner, intermediate and advanced. CLYMB Abu Dhabi offers packages for beginner climbers to try out the walls with instructor supervision, while experienced climbers can challenge themselves on their own! Climbers will also receive safety briefings, climbing gear and equipment check as part of the whole experience.

FIRST-TIME FLYER EXPERIENCE
The First-Time Flyer Experience is ideal for beginners who want a taste of the thrill of indoor skydiving. Flyers have the option to choose between packages with 2 to 10 flights, so you can experience the rush of indoor skydiving as many times as you want!
- 2 Flights: AED 215 per person
- 4 Flights: AED 385 per person
- 6 Flights: AED 520 per person
- 8 Flights: AED 625 per person
- 10 Flights: AED 705 per person
The First-Time Flyer Experience also includes pre-flight training, one-on-one flight instruction and flight gear rental.
PRO FLYERS EXPERIENCE
The Pro Flyers Experience is perfect for experienced flyers who want to work on their skills. Pro flyers can choose between two packages, which guarantees a minimum of 10 flights each visit for nine months!
- Off-Peak Package (Weekdays only): AED 4,200 per person
- Anytime Package (Weekdays and Weekends): AED 6,000 per person
The CLYMB Abu Dhabi cost for the Pro Flyers package also includes flight gear rental and one-on-one flight instruction.
CLYMB INDOOR CLIMBING TICKETS
There are separate packages for kids and adults for indoor climbing at CLYMB Abu Dhabi. Take a look at the CLYMB Abu Dhabi cost for various experiences that visitors can opt for at the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall!
KIDS (AGES 4 – 13)
This package includes climbing gear rental and instructor supervision.
- 3 Peaks: AED 95 per person (60-minute access to a bouldering wall, beginner wall and intermediate wall)
ADULTS (AGES 14 AND ABOVE)
These packages also include climbing gear rental and instructor supervision.
- SUMMYT: AED 190 per person (90-minute access to The SUMMYT)
- 4 Peaks: AED 170 per person (90-minute access to a bouldering wall, beginner wall, intermediate wall and advanced wall)
- 3 Peaks: AED 120 per person (60-minute access to a bouldering wall, beginner wall and intermediate wall)
Adults also have the choice to opt for full-day access to all the climbing walls without instructor supervision. However, this is only if they have prior experience and pass a level check with the instructors, after which they will be allowed to climb certain walls.
- Full-Day Access: AED 100 per person
WHERE IS CLYMB LOCATED?
Adding to the list of world-famous attractions on the island, CLYMB Abu Dhabi is located on the exciting Yas Island. An indoor attraction, CLYMB will be connected to Yas Mall and Ferrari World.
Wondering how to get to CLYMB Yas Island? If you’re coming from the direction of Dubai, continue on Sheikh Zayed Road (South) towards Abu Dhabi. Take the exit for Yas Island, which reads ‘Yas Leisure Drive’. Keep following the signs for Yas Leisure Drive, then follow signs for Ferrari World Abu Dhabi/CLYMB Abu Dhabi.
If you’re coming from Abu Dhabi, head towards Dubai via Maqta Bridge. Take the exit for Yas Island West, follow signs for Yas Leisure Drive and then signs for Ferrari World Abu Dhabi/CLYMB Abu Dhabi.
Parking for CLYMB Abu Dhabi is available at Yas Mall, which connects to the attraction.
CLYMB ABU DHABI TIMINGS
The timings for CLYMB Abu Dhabi in 2019 will be as follows:
- Sunday to Saturday: 12:00 pm – 05:00 pm
However, from 2020 onwards, the CLYMB Abu Dhabi timings will be extended, meaning visitors can enjoy themselves for longer! Take a look at 2020 timings below:

- Friday & Saturday: 12:00 pm – 11:00 pm
