The Villa has a community centre with shops, a mosque, play area, salon and spa and sports facilities. The houses look like little palaces amidst manicured gardens and these are mostly occupied by families with young children. Public Transportation in The Villa
The Villa community lacks a public transportation system at the moment which is why residents travel in their own cars or private taxis. If a taxi is ordered from the neighbouring locality of Arabian Ranches, it will arrive within a few minutes. The nearest bus station is located in Dubai Academic City and the nearest metro station lies in Business Bay on Sheikh Zayed Road.

It is especially well-known for its bakery section. Another Spinneys supermarket is in Silicon Oasis, just a few blocks away from another supermarket: Choithrams. There is also a Thomsun Supermarket which sells fresh food items and offers a home delivery service. West Zone Fresh Supermarket and Shua Al Madina are some popular supermarkets in The Villa. If you prefer Carrefour supermarket for all of your needs, you will find one available at a 12-minute drive towards Souk Extra in the neighbouring Dubai Silicon Oasis community.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN THE VILLA
Unfortunately, there aren’t any churches in The Villa. The nearest one is Saint Mary’s Catholic Church about 25 minutes away on Oud Metha Road. However, the Muslim community will find a mosque right in the community centre, known as Masjid Al Aisha Umm Al Mumineen. Others, such as Al Waha Masjid and Falcon City Mosque, are also located in the nearby Dubailand community. The nearest Hindu temple would be the Shiva Temple in the Bur Dubai district, close to Dubai Museum.
SCHOOLS IN THE VILLA
GEMS First Point School and Repton School are two of the most popular schools in the locality offering a British curriculum from foundation stage to grade 12. Those who wish to send their little ones to a nursery can check out Kids Zone Nursery located inside the community itself. There’s also an art institute named Melodica Music and Dance School that teaches different instruments, dance styles, and music. Moreover, some of the best universities in Dubai Academic City such as Heriot-Watt University, University of Dubai, University of Birmingham Dubai and many more.

MALLS IN THE VILLA
Centro Camino Mall is a mini-centre in one of the village circles of The Villa. It has a supermart, a clinic, a barber shop, a money exchange and a musical instrument outlet. For a nice dose of caffeine, it has Starbucks as well. But there isn’t any shopping mall in the area where you can hang out. For malls, you can drive towards Al Ain Road to reach Dubai Outlet Mall which offers a huge range of brand outlets, entertainment activities and plenty of parking options.
RESTAURANTS IN THE VILLA
Foodies get to enjoy quite a lot of options in and out of the community. Oregano serves the best pasta and pizza in town. Its gluten-free menu is also very popular which makes it one of the best pasta spots in Dubai. Eat and Drink Restaurant is located on Al Ain Road and it serves authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisines. Those looking at fast food options will find a drive-through McDonald’s in Wadi Al Safa.
BEACHES NEAR THE VILLA
The Villa and its cascades of lakes, gardens and desert make it a relaxing and rejuvenating area you would hardly want to leave. But for picnics on the beach, you can find Jumeirah Beach at a 30-minute drive away.

LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND NOTABLE LANDMARKS
For a more adventurous weekend, it is recommended that you head out towards Dubai Mall, Dragon Mart, Arabian Ranches Golf Club, Dubai Miracle Garden and Plantation Equestrian and Polo Club – all reachable within a few minutes. Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, located nearby, also has a tennis academy and an equestrian centre.

While living in The Villa, you always have something to do every day. The courtyards and community parks are its key highlights. There are about 3 big courtyards in 3 of the sub-communities, one in The Centro and another in Hacienda. A community park with swings and rides is adored by kids who live here. Another park is built next to Aldea Gate and one more is in Mazaya. So you can expect lots of jogging tracks, BBQ parties, mini picnics and family gatherings. The Aldea has a sports club known as UAE Sports Academy while other fitness clubs include Nitro Gym in Apricot Towers and Fitt High-Performance Centre located in Palace Towers. Plenty of beauty salons have been built inside the community, such as Fabulicious Ladies Salon, Refinery Beauty Lounge and Loteria Beauty Lounge. Tips and Toes and The Iridium Spa are some of the most favourite places to relax and unwind.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Currently, The Villa does not host any community events but if you fancy one, then you must prepare to drive all the way to Global Village as several food festivals, cultural shows, concerts and many more events are celebrated there. Some national holiday events can be attended in the Arabian Ranches as well.
However, if you are looking to socialize there are a few Facebook groups you can join. For communal events, there is The Villa Dubailand and The Villa Community. The Villa Mums is another popular group for the area, it is limited to ladies only.
