Al Qasimia is a well-developed area with many points of interest. There are plenty of advantages of living in Al Qasimia. This include affordable rental properties, in proximity to educational institutes, shopping malls, supermarkets and entertainment options. Public transportation in Al Qasimia is limited. The closest bus station is a 20-minute walk away, this leads to many of the community travelling through their own vehicles or using taxis which are easily found.

There are numerous supermarkets in Al Qasimia located at short intervals. Al Mahattah Supermarket is within walking distance from the centre of the community. Similarly, Musbah Al Madeena Supermarket is roughly 6 minutes away. Dalia Supermarket and Shamia Supermarkets are also very popular supermarkets that are close by.

Al Qasimia has numerous mosques within the community. The most popular one is the King Faisal Mosque. It was known to be one of the UAE’s grandest mosques and is still well-known as a landmark in Sharjah. The mosque can accommodate over 16,000 worshippers at any given time. It also provides a separate prayer hall for ladies. Other popular mosques in Al Qasimia include Al Emaan Al Nawawi Mosque and Ibn Othaimeen which are within walking distance from most of the apartment buildings.

There is hardly any temple in the vicinity; the nearest one is at a 30-minute drive. The Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, Shiva Temple and a few more can be found in the Bur Dubai district in Dubai. St.Michael’s Roman Catholic Church and Russian Orthodox Church are at around 10 minutes drive in the Al Yarmook area in Sharjah. Russian Orthodox Church is one of the best churches in Sharjah. This Orthodox usually operates on weekends and all public holidays between 09:00 am to 06:00 pm.

There are quite a few schools in Al Qasimia, which makes it popular with parents with school-going children. Al Farha Nursery and Alayadi Nursery are located in the community itself.

Nearby schools include Sharjah Indian School which is one of the best Indian schools in Sharjah. Other nearby schools include Progressive English School,  Radiant School, Al Maarifa International Private School and Emirates Private School.

Al Qasimia University is the most popular university in the area offering many educational programs.

Al Qasimia pays special attention to the health of its residents as there are many hospitals and clinics available in the vicinity. MedCare Hospital is near Al Qasimia, it is just at a 6-minute drive away. Medcare Hospital Sharjah offers complex medical and surgical services. Their state-of-the-art technology integrated with experienced doctors makes this one of the top hospitals in Sharjah. This hospital is known for its Orthopaedic department and popular for those suffering from fractured bones and ligaments tears.

Other medical facilities include Right Medical Centre, NMC Medical Centre Rolla and Central Private Hospital. All these are just a 10-minute drive away and offer the best medical treatment to their patients.

The community of Al Qasimia is surrounded by friendly neighbourhoods. It shares its south-eastern border with Al Majaz. A number of hotels are located near Al Majaz such as Holiday International, Embassy Suites and Marbella Resort. To the north-west exists the residences in Al Manakh. The area is also comprised of multiple schools and restaurants. To the east, you will find the Al Bu Daniq district, close to Mega Mall Sharjah, one of Sharjah’s leading shopping destinations.

Al Qasimia has plenty of malls near its vicinity. One of the most popular malls, Mega Mall Sharjah is a 4-story shopping centre with a cinema. It is one of the best malls in Sharjah located in Abu Shagara.

Omis Mall is also one of the other popular malls near Al Qasimia and within a 5-minute drive. The CG Mall is also within close proximity to the community.

Al Qasimia has almost every type of restaurant one wishes to visit. There is Pakistani food available at Jabal Pakistan Restaurant at a short distance. Aroos Damascus Restaurant that has Arabic and vegetarian food options available too is at a 4-minute drive from the area while Chinese lovers can head to Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant within a 7-minute ride. Mandi is served at Joraif for Mandi Restaurant. One can also drive to Al-Qulayaah to find Al Matbakh Al Kuwaiti Restaurant which serves traditional Emirati dishes. Sharjah Beach is just a 12-minute drive away from Al Qasimia where one can have a fun-filled picnic away from the hustle bustle of the city. A few beaches near Al Qasimia are Al Khan Beach and Al Mamzar Beach.

Residents and visitors gather throughout the 30 days at Al Faisal Mosque and the area lights up during Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha. If you have a small family and you are looking to rent a comparatively cheaper and yet comfortable place to live in, then Al Qasimia is the best option for you. Along with the luxuries and the amenities being provided and the closeness to restaurants, beach, and schools the place is a heaven for people residing in here.
