ABOUT AL MAHATAH
Al Mahatah is a mixed residential and commercial suburb of Sharjah in Al Qasimia district about 89 miles North-east of Abu Dhabi. The community holds great historic importance and location-wise, it enjoys seamless connectivity to the key landmarks of Sharjah. First, it was planned as a big project of numerous buildings with residential and serviced apartments. Al Mahatah Fort was just one of these buildings that served as a motel for tourists and a short staycation for home-hunters. This fort has now purposely turned into The Mahatah Museum displaying historical innovations and crafts of old industries.
Most importantly, the community is tied to its history, representing it out-loud through construction techniques, design and architecture of the buildings. Having clusters of low, mid and high-rise apartment buildings, Al Mahatah offers a wide range of residential flats for locals and expats.
