Secondary Stage Curriculum

After completing the middle school phase, students enter the secondary stage (Grade 9 and Grade 10). Students sit an external examination in Grade 10 to earn a certificate issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The academic year of The Royal Academy starts in April and ends in March.

• The first term starts in April and ends in June. After the first term, students go on a summer break in July and August.
• The second term starts in September and ends in mid of December. This is followed by a three-week winter break in December.
