Al Hamidiyah or Al Hamidiya is a large community that is located close to the eastern outskirts of Ajman. The neighbourhood has two large sub-communities that lie between the neighbouring communities of Al Raqaib, Al Muntazi and Al Rawda. These include Al Esteqama Supermarket or Estekama Supermarket as it is known, Al Dabdob Supermarket, Nesto Hypermarket and Safa Al Madeena Supermarket. Al Joulan Foodstuff Trading is a popular place to buy spices and herbs.

There are several mosques in Al Hamidiyah that are located close to the main road. These include Mohammed Abdullah Al Saidi Mosque, Amna Ali Al Shamsi Mosque, Al Huda Mosque and Ajman Shaikh Zayed Mosque. Other mosques within the community include Al Ittihad Masjid, Hanifa bint Ibrahim bin Yusuf Mosque and Sheikha bint Rashid Al Nuaimi Mosque.

Those looking for a Christian church near Al Hamidiyah should visit the Winners Chapel International Ajman. It is a 15-minute drive away via Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Street in Al Rashidya.

Temples near Al Hamidiyah are almost a half-an-hour ride away. Hindu residents of the community would have to drive to Bur Dubai to visit the Shiva and Krishna temples.

One of the most prominent residential communities in Ajman is Al Rawda and it lies south of Al Hamdiyah. The mixed-use community of Al Jurf is the western neighbour for Al Hamidiya, it features many medical, commercial and educational options.

Popular restaurants in Al Hamidiyah include Feza Lounge, 71OZ Steakhouse and Bezar. Food Box is a fusion restaurant combining Italian and Japanese cuisines, Al Ayaam Grills & Restaurant is popular for its Arabi dishes and Snow Flake serves delicious desserts.

Ajman Corniche is a popular evening as well as a weekend holiday destination for families. It boasts several cafes and restaurants.
