Delhi Private School (DPS) was established in 2003 to provide quality education to the Indian community living in Dubai. According to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the school is home to over 3,700 students including students of determination. Around 288 teachers and 26 teaching assistants cater to the student body. The current teacher to student ratio is 1:13.

DPS Dubai is a private educational institute located in Dubai, UAE offering CBSE based education. Delhi Private School Curriculum

DPS follows the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E) curriculum. This is a controlled examination system administered all across India. CBSE curriculum is recognised globally for the strength of its academic program, particularly in Science and Mathematics.

Academic Calendar for DPS Dubai

The academic year at DPS starts in the first week of April and ends in the third week of March. 

  • The first term starts in the first week of April and ends in the first week of July. Students then go on a summer break that ends in the fourth week of August.
  • The second term starts in the last week of August and ends in the first week of December. This is followed by a winter break that lasts till the last week of December.
  • Classes resume right after the end of winter break and last till the third week of March.

Admission and Fees

How to Apply to Delhi Private School?

The school accepts online registration for Delhi Private School admissions. Parents can fill out the registration form and submit it with the specified documents and registration fee. Registration fee is non-refundable. Parents should note that registration does not guarantee admission. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.

Once the online form is submitted, the school sends an email and SMS to confirm the submission. Another SMS/Email is sent to inform parents regarding their appointment to complete the registration formalities.

To be applicable for admission, document copies and completed registration forms should be submitted on a specific date and time. The following documents are required at the time of registration:

  • A photocopy of the birth certificate issued by the municipal corporation
  • A photocopy of the valid passport of the student along with a valid residence visa stamp and fresh valid entry permit
  • A photocopy of the Emirates ID
  • Completed registration form
  • Four recent passport size photographs
  • Any learning support documents
  • Immunisation Card
  • CAT 4 report grade 3 and above
  • Previous grade report card copy
  • Pre-board mark sheets are required for Grade XI - Grade VIII, IX and Grade X
