The academic year at Al Itqan American School starts in late August and ends in June. The breakdown of the calendar is as under:

• The first term starts in the last week of August and ends in the first week of December. After examinations, students go on a three-week winter break that ends in the last week of December.
• The classes resume with the start of the second term in the first week of January and end in the third week of March. Students then go on a spring break that ends in the first week of April.
• The last term starts in the second week of April and ends in the last week of June.
