FIRST PAGE: BILL SUMMARY
The first page is divided into three sections. Here is what the first section looks like, along with its details.

In the top left corner of your DEWA Bill, you will find the following details:
- Invoice
- Issue Date
- Billing Month
- Period
- DEWA VAT no.
Now, coming on to the second section, right under Green Bill Tax Invoice, you will see the following:
- Account Number
- Account Type
- Business Partner
- Premise Number
- Premise Type
- PO Box
- Collective Account Number
- Customer VAT Number
The bill’s second section shows service charges for Dubai Electricity & Water Authority, Dubai Municipality and charges for District Cooling. You will also see the due date for your bill right under the summary.
The third section contains the following information:

- Previous Bill Balance
- Adjustments
- Payment Received
- Total Due (including VAT)

SECOND PAGE: ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION
The second page shows the DEWA bill summary for electricity charges. It is divided into four sections.
The top left corner of this page shows a summary of Kilowatt Hours (kWh). On the right corner, you will see:
- Meter Number
- Multiplication Factor (MF)
- Current Reading
- Previous Reading:
- Sub Meters Consumption
The left section shows you the carbon footprint calculated in Kg Co2e units. As per DEWA, it should ideally be under 500 units.
The first section on the right summarises electricity consumption per kWh and its rate in AED. Just below this, you will see fuel surcharge and meter service charges.
At the end of this page, you will find:

THIRD PAGE: WATER USAGE
The third page of the DEWA bill shows you the water consumption for the billing month. It is divided into three sections.

Your consumption is highlighted at the top of this page in Imperial Gallons (IG). It shows the IG rate in AED. The middle subsection shows the fuel surcharge and meter service charge.
The last section shows the subtotal, VAT and total charges for water consumption.
FOURTH PAGE: OTHER SERVICES
This page details Dubai Municipality Charges, including Dubai Municipality housing fee and other service charges. This fee includes 5% VAT.

FIFTH PAGE: NAKHEEL CHARGES FOR DISTRICT COOLING
The fifth page shows Nakheel’s charges. It is applicable if you have a district cooling system. The VAT is 5% for these services.
