Who are teamLab?
teamLab is an international art collective that brings together science, technology, nature and art — an accomplishment achieved by their diverse team of artists, animators, CGI specialists, mathematicians and architects. Highlights of teamLab Phenomena
teamLab Phenomena is an absolute immersive art experience in Abu Dhabi, designed to offer unique perspectives on the world around you with their distinct artworks. The sprawling 17,000 sq. m. space, visible from afar, is a permanent exhibition open throughout the year.
The exhibition is divided into ‘areas,’ based on themes, such as Dry Area, Water Area, Sketch Factory and Enhance. Each area offers the following experiences:
- Dry Area: An immersive area where artworks respond to your movement. Expect a blend of light, pop colours, sound and motion-based artworks, with exhibits such as Levitation Void or Spontaneous Order in Chaos.
- Water Area: Walk barefoot for a sensory experience involving water, where the art reacts to movement. You will see light, water and sound come together in a spectacular spectacle.
- Lamp Tea House: Art, technology and nature come together in this exhibit
- Sketch Factory: Watch your graffiti come to life in vibrant colours.
After you’ve explored the exhibits, you can head to their cafe, Anko: Japanese Patisserie, for a bite. This tastefully designed cafe creates a tranquil, serene ambience using organic shapes, pastel colours and floral accents. Try a confectionery, such as Pan (a Japanese yeasted milk bread) and Wagashi.

- VIP Private Experience, offering VIP guided access to the artworks for three guests. You can add additional guests at an extra cost. Includes reserved VIP valet parking, admission with priority access, a three-hour guided tour, complimentary refreshments, premium reserved seating at the Lamp Team house and table and lunch at Anko: Japanese Patisserie. You will receive a farewell gift upon completion of the tour.
