The Michelin Guide Food Festival, an exciting event coming to Abu Dhabi, is something all connoisseurs are looking forward to. What’s Happening? Quick Facts About The Event
The Michelin Guide Food Festival in Abu Dhabi will bring together 16 chefs from Michelin Guide-recognised restaurants for a memorable experience.
Themed ‘Discover the Art of Flavour’, this event will be taking visitors through the magic behind some of the world’s finest food. This food festival is a part of the Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, where the emirate celebrates the best of food and everything related to the intricacies of flavours.
At the Michelin Guide Food Festival, you can expect specially curated menus, unique delicacies, a ‘Chef’s Table’ event, cooking masterclasses and a place to shop for Michelin products and farm produce. Each chef will be bringing their region’s cuisine to the spotlight.

Besides dining, visitors can participate in six masterclasses to learn about flavours with the experts. These chefs will teach you about each unique taste: sweet, savoury, umami, bitter and spicy. This is excellent for flavour connoisseurs looking to learn about hitting the right notes of taste and evoking memories through food.
The Michelin Guide Food Festival Abu Dhabi isn’t just a festival for food critics and reviewers; it’s also for families looking to unwind and have fun. Activities include being a part of the Chef’s Table – an exciting collaboration of three chefs from local and international Michelin star restaurants presenting a 6-8 course meal. Tickets for these Chef’s Tables events are separate – available at AED 750 per person – and include complimentary entry into the food festival.
Other family-friendly points of interest include the pastry zone, a tailor-made bar, a premium hospitality lounge and a kids’ play area. There will also be a marketplace with Michelin branded merch and fresh produce from local farms for all the Michelin fans attending.
Tickets
Tickets for the Michelin Guide Food Festival Abu Dhabi cost AED 100, with free access for children under 12. You can access Louvre Abu Dhabi and the event for a special price of AED 130.

What will you find in Louvre Abu Dhabi?
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is a separate entity from this museum. Still, it has a contractual relationship that allows it to use the Louvre name till 2037 and receive artefacts from the Louvre till 2027. It is one of the most visited museums in the Arab World, and you can take a trip through time while walking down this beautiful museum.
How can I get to the Louvre Abu Dhabi from Dubai?
- Public Transport: The most recommended inter-emirate bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi is from the Ibn Battuta Mall bus stop. Take the A2 (towards Khalifa Street) and get off at Sultan Bin Zayed St / Gold Center Bus Stop. Then, take the bus to Saadiyat Louvre.
- Car: Louvre Abu Dhabi is located on Al Saadiyat Island. Please note that finding a good parking space at the Louvre on weekends may be time-consuming.
- Taxi: There are quite a few taxis in Dubai and Abu Dhabi that will take you to the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
- Water Taxi: You can take a water taxi from the Marsa Mina Terminal to the Louvre Abu Dhabi – between 09:30 am. and 09:15 pm. It’s a pretty cool experience. In fact, you can park here and ride across the waterways.
