Offering more than 30 thrilling slides, rides, and attractions, this waterpark has everything you’d want in an affordable summer fun destination.
If you’re looking for places to escape for the weekend, here are all the reasons why Dreamland UAQ is an excellent option to consider:
Top Attractions at Dreamland Aqua Park
Dreamland Aqua Park UAQ, being one of the largest water parks in the UAE has rides, slides and attractions for people of all ages. With over 30 different activities to try in the aqua park, it is sometimes challenging to fit everything within the available time constraints. Whenever you chance upon visiting this fun place, make sure you don’t leave without trying the following attractions:
This 40-metre long tunnel slide ends into an open bowl that spins you around before dropping you in the water. While the tunnel slide is like any other slide you’ll find at a water park, it’s the “twister” part that brings out the fun. It will twist you and spin you harnessing the speed you’ve already gained from the slide and then let you nose dive into the water pool from 2 metres above the ground.
Kamikaze at Dreamland Aqua Park is a pair of water slides that allows you to experience the thrill of high-speed gliding down the steep slides that end in the water pool. They may not be the highest waterslides you’ve tried, but they are good enough to give you a much-needed adrenaline rush.
Ever experienced a time where you know which door you entered from, but aren’t sure which one to use for the exit? Twisting Dragons will let you experience all that. This exciting and twisting maze of tunnel slides at Dreamland Aqua Park has interconnected slides that send you out from a different ‘dragon’s mouth’ – even when you begin from the same spot every time.
With the Black Hole, it’s the anticipation of the plunge that keeps your thrill levels piqued at all times. Once you slip into Dreamland UAQ’s Black Hole, you are engulfed by complete darkness that travels with you till the very end. Powered by the gravitational pull, this slide will have you calculating the time before you finally drop into the water.
This slide may have a name similar to the merry-go-rounds, but it’s nothing like them. In fact, the Mighty GoRound at Dreamland Aqua Park boasts two giant body slides that go in circles – that’s where they get the name from. Power through these slides and enjoy your time splashing into the pool after a thrilling ride down the slide.
Kids in Dreamland UAQ
Even the kids can have a ball at Dreamland Aqua Park in Umm Al Quwain. The facility has two pools and play areas, dedicated entirely to kids aged 3 and above. Obviously, the younger ones will need adult supervision, but still, the fun is never compromised.
Aqua Play Kids Pool
Aqua Play is an interactive pool that comprises 19 different game options for kids. While the toddlers can stand under the rotating big water bucket to get soaked to their bones, the slightly older ones can try their luck at the inflated obstacle course at the pool.
If your kids want to slightly up the adventure level, take them to the Hippo’s Island. Designed with life-size stone hippos and a dragon dotting the region, this pool area with its caves, slides and other attractions is a complete dose of entertainment for the kids.

Our Verdict – Is Dreamland Umm Al Quwain worth a Visit
Perhaps the best thing about spending a day at Dreamland UAQ is that you cannot single out the experience without visiting the city of Umm Al Quwain. This small emirate is such a unique contrast to the more developed regions of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah that it pleasantly surprises you.
Coming back to the waterpark, it is necessary to mention here that Dreamland Aqua Park is no comparison to the bigger waterparks like Yas Waterworld, Wild Wadi, and Aquaventure. The park was built in the ’90s and has maintained its standards. However, even after upgrades, it’s not something that makes you keep coming back for more. But one fact you cannot ignore is that Dreamland UAQ still gives you some good thrills and slides for affordable prices. And it’s something that works great if you are looking for a lighthearted, fun weekend.
The best thing about this place is that even with plenty of activities at Dreamland Aqua Park, it rarely has way too many people visiting at the same time. So, you have the whole place to yourself and a few other families. It’s cheap, it’s fun, it’s not crowded and it has something for everyone. These make good enough reasons for us to visit the Dreamland Umm Al Quwain at least once in our lifetime.
That concludes this article on one of the most popular attractions in UAQ. If you are looking for some more fun water-themed attractions, here is a list of the best waterparks in the UAE.
