One of the most prestigious sailing clubs in the UAE, Marina Yacht Club (DMYC), has plenty in store for avid sailors. From berths to perks, a new luxurious resort, and everything in between, here’s all you need to know about this famed yacht club in Dubai Marina!
About the Dubai Marina Yacht Club
The Dubai Marina Yacht Club is a “5-Gold Anchor” award-winning establishment in Dubai. The Gold Anchor Scheme has been a credible global measure of marina quality for over two decades, making the club’s achievement all the more impressive.

Renowned for its quality of service, convenient transportation links and easy access to the sea, the club’s prestigious reputation is well-deserved.
The DMYC administers four marinas at different points along the 3.5km Dubai Marina Canal. A highlight is the DMYC Clubhouse, which features a cigar lounge, two restaurants, yacht chartering companies and the opulent Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club.

Previous rally programmes have included festive boater parties, trips to the desert and more.
Marinas administered by the DMYC
Every berth operated by the Dubai Marina Yacht Club is powered individually. Here is an overview of each berth.
THE EAST MARINA
The East Marina was the first of four marinas built and was constructed back in 2007. Its design is inspired by European-style marinas and it has the capacity to accommodate 208 yachts at a time.
The East Marina’s proximity to Dubai Marina’s residential spaces is a boon for residents, especially since the berth is built around a vibrant open-air promenade with a series of retail shops, trendy waterfront cafes and restaurants.
THE MALL MARINA
With a capacity of 74 yachts, the Dubai Mall Marina is another marina operated by the DMYC. It has an array of exclusive boutiques and shops. Furthermore, there is a golf-buggy service that transports members to the clubhouse. The Address Hotel is also present at this location.
THE WEST BAY MARINA
The marina currently has room for 100 yachts. Those who own superyachts can also benefit from an extra-large berth.
THE CLUB HOUSE MARINA
The Club House Marina is located in front of the DMYC clubhouse with a concrete dock and a capacity of berthing 134 yachts. Only cardholders are allowed in this marina.

MARINA PROMENADE
Marina Promenade is a scenic waterfront walkway overlooking the vibrant Dubai Marina. It offers a relaxed setting for jogging, casual strolls and dining with beautiful views of yachts and the skyline. The promenade is lined with cafés, restaurants and leisure spots, making it a popular hangout for residents and visitors alike.
Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club
A brand new luxurious addition to the vibrant marina is the Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club. Choose from an array of rooms and suites with impressive Dubai Marina views. The resort features all the amenities you can expect from a high-end hotel, such as a fitness centre, spa, restaurants, pools, pool bars and a business centre. Another reason this hotel is popular among guests is that you can take your furry friend along on a holiday or staycation. It’s one of the few pet-friendly hotels in Dubai.
