Luck of the Irish! All about The Irish Village, Dubai
A unique culture, casual and friendly atmosphere, hearty food and traditional Irish music characterise a typical Irish pub. The Irish Village in Dubai is no different. Calling itself “a small piece of Ireland at the heart of Dubai,” this charming destination is a favourite hangout. Always wanted to visit the place? From the eats to events and more, here is everything about The Irish Village Dubai.
The Irish Village Dubai Locations
The Irish Village currently has two branches in Dubai, one in Al Garhoud and the other in Dubai Studio City.
If you ever wanted to experience all that makes Ireland so great, The Irish Village Dubai is the best place for it. The original Al Garhoud spot feels like a countryside hub with towering trees, a large garden and a peaceful lake, which is now home to the famous Irish Village ducks.
The interior is cosy and has character, with retro tiles, warm wood finishes and walls adorned with witty lines from famous Irish writers alongside a delightful collection of vintage items.
The vibe at the pub’s Studio City branch, on the other hand, is brighter and more modern. Custom lighting and high ceilings give the space a contemporary touch. There is also a roomy terrace where you can catch the latest global sporting action on the big screen, perfect for a friendly get together with friends.

The Irish Village Al Garhoud Dubai
A pub that has been praised as “one of the world’s greatest meeting places” by Newsweek is bound to be good. IV Al Garhoud has won more than 60 awards since its establishment and has won legions of customers along the way.
The pub has maintained its popularity over the last two decades despite rapid change and competition across the emirate. And it’s easy to see why. Apart from a varied menu and warm service, IVS Garhoud has played host to several acclaimed performers like Sinead O’Conner, Mary Black, Brian Kennedy, Boyzone and Billy Ocean among others. The best part? It’s dog friendly!
Right in the middle of the terrace is a lifesize bronze statue of three traditional musicians from the Emerald Isle, installed during the pub’s 10th anniversary celebration in 2007. It was inaugurated by the then prime minister of Ireland, Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.
