Formerly known as Abu Dhabi Capital District, Zayed City (Khalifa City C) is the new project that will be built between Mohammed Bin Zayed City and Abu Dhabi International Airport. It will be a key centrepiece in the Plan 2030. Featuring a fully integrated transport system, the area will be served by high-speed rail service, regional rail connections and the metro railway. Currently, one can buy residential plots here. Once complete, the community will house about 370,000 residents who can enjoy quick access to schools, universities, healthcare centres, mosques, hotels, government agencies and a wide range of luxurious amenities

The community is expected to house 35 mosques, 2,790 residential plots, 45 gardens and 15 schools. Apart from these amenities, there will be easy access to major roads, hotels and supermarkets. Zayed City will have a peaceful and secure environment that would be ideal for family living.

Those interested in residential properties in Zayed City will have numerous options to choose from. Currently, most properties are under construction and only residential plots are available for sale. The minimum plot area in the community is 16,000 sq. ft. with maximum floor area going up to 30,000 sq. ft. Soon enough, one can rent apartments in Zayed City.

One can invest in residential plots for sale in Zayed City. The sales price of a 16,000 sq. ft. plot is about AED 2.5M. The price goes up to AED 4.5M for a 40,000 sq. ft. plot. Commercial plots for sale in Zayed City are also available.

Western Hotel is a 4-star hotel located amidst gardens on E45. It is just a short drive from the City Mall. The modern rooms have seating areas and desks. Some rooms are upgraded and feature balconies and terraces with direct pool access. The hotel also has an Indian restaurant, a buffet and a café. Fitness centre and kid’s playrooms are also available.

Tilal Liwa Hotel is another 4-star hotel set on the edge of the Rub Al Khali desert. There are elegant rooms with furnished balconies and terraces. Amenities include a restaurant and two bars. One can find an infinity pool, a gym and a luxe spa.

The community will have numerous parking spaces once developed. Each building will have private parking spaces.

Currently, most infrastructure is in the development phase. Once complete, residents can use multiple modes of public transportation for a hassle-free commute including high-speed rail service, regional rail connections and metro.

The community itself does not have a supermarket. However, one can find several supermarkets near Zayed City in the neighbouring areas. Some popular local options are Lemar Supermarket, Hyde Park Supermarket and Al Khazna Star Grocery. All of these are located at about a 10-minute drive. International chains like Spinneys and Carrefour Market are located at a 7-minute drive in Khalifa City A.

Residents can find several churches near Zayed City. All Saints Anglican Church, The American Church of Abu Dhabi and St. Paul’s Church Musaffah are a 16-minute drive away in Musaffah.

There are a number of mosques in Zayed City. Popular ones are Mosque Forgiveness, ADNOC Mosque, Afraa Mosque and Al Maktoum Eid Al Muraykhi Mosque. Once the community is fully developed, there will be about 35 mosques to facilitate residents.

Residents can find numerous reputable schools in Zayed City. Popular schools like The British International School Abu Dhabi, Virginia International Private School and Sharjah American International School are all in proximity. The British International School Abu Dhabi is located at about a 15-minute drive. It is an international school offering the British curriculum. The school has more than 1,800 students aged 3 to 18 years. Languages taught are English, Arabic, Spanish, French and German.

Virginia International Private School is another popular school offering an American-based curriculum from kindergarten to Grade 11. Other schools in the vicinity are Australian School of Abu Dhabi, Modern Private School and California American School.

There are several nurseries in Zayed City for toddlers such as My Baby Nursery, Noah’s Ark Nursery and Kotwals Nursery & Montessori.

There are numerous clinics near Zayed City. One can find HealthPlus Family Clinic in Al Forsan at a 9-minute drive. Al Falah Healthcare Medical Mall is a 5-minute drive away. For skincare needs, CosmeSurge- Bareen International Hospital is also located nearby. Aster Clinic, Emerald Clinic and Archer Medical Centre are a short drive away.

Popular hospitals near Zayed City are NMC Royal Hospital Khalifa City, Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children and Ahalia Hospital.

Zayed City enjoys an ideal location. Towards the west is the well-developed, Mohammed Bin Zayed City. To the north, the community shares its borders with Khalifa City A and Masdar City Abu Dhabi. The community is also located quite close to the Airport Area and Al Shawamekh.

Shopaholics can find several malls in Zayed City. Mazyad Mall is located at about a 13-minute drive. It has various fashion outlets, electronic stores, book and department stores. There is a food court with several eateries. Another popular, Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre is located nearby. Central Mall Abu Dhabi is an online store that service with the area. People can also find The Village Mall, Dalma Mall and Bawabat Al Sharq Mall at a short drive.

Food lovers can enjoy different cuisines at restaurants in Zayed City. Currently, the community itself only has three restaurants: Hardee’s, Elysium Café and Restaurant and Al Thabiah Restaurant. All these are a 5-minute drive away. Others such as Pizzaro, Tasha Restaurant, Gourmet LAB Restaurant and Khayal Restaurant are located in Khalifa City A at about a 10-minute drive.

For fine-dining eaters, Teatro, Amalfi Fine Dining Italian Restaurant and Blue Grill are located nearby.

Luckily, residents can find some of the popular beaches near Zayed City. Al Zeina Beach is located at a 16-minute drive away.  People can visit Al Raha Beach to enjoy a picnic. Yas Public Beach and Saadiyat Beach are also located nearby.

At about a 20-minute drive, there is Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy several exhilarating rides at Ferrari World. Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi is a popular character-themed indoor amusement park with rides and shows based on Warner Bros. cartoon characters and superheroes. Other notable landmarks nearby are Al Maqta’a Fort, Wahat Al Karama and Wathba Wetland. All of these are a 10-minute drive away.

Currently, most of the area is still under construction. Once fully developed, the community will feature about 45 gardens. For now, people can visit Khalifa Park which is a 16-minute drive away. It features lush gardens and a maritime museum. Al Maqtaa Park, Children Park and MBZ Park are all located nearby.

Fitness enthusiasts can enrol in several gyms in the vicinity. LIFT Gym, BodyFit Khalifa City and Gold’s Gym are a 10-minute drive away.

Zayed City will soon have numerous leisure amenities and high-end properties. As of now, most amenities are under development.
