Umm Ramool is a mixed-use development in Dubai set on the eastern side of the emirate, close to Dubai International Airport. There are other comparatively smaller, but sufficient for day to day grocery stores available within the community. These are Sun and Moon supermarket, Al Ain Food and Beverages, Algerian Fruits and Vegetable Supermarket and Mohideen Supermarket.

Residents will find many local mosques in the area, located at convenient intervals in the community. These mosques can easily accommodate many worshippers. Some popular mosques nearby are Habib Mosque, Ibrahim Al Khalil Mosque, Bin Hamdan Mosque and Al Rashidiya Al Kabeer Mosque.

Most churches are located in the neighbouring communities of Al Jaddaf, Oud Mehta and Port Saeed, which require approximately 9 to 11 minutes of drive to get there. You will find City Hill Dubai Church at a 9-minute distance, in the Al Jaddaf community. Hindu residents of Umm Ramool can locate a place of worship in Dubai Festival City and Bur Dubai. Ohm Malayilkada Munam Mughathu Kavu is a Hindu temple, 8 minutes away via car and Lankaramya is 7 minutes away. You can also head to the Shiva Temple, ShrinathJi Temple and Shree Krishna Haveli on Al Fahidi Street in an approximate 18-minute drive.

Umm Ramool is a well-established community, with many advantages including easy transportation. However, there are a few reasons residents can find difficulty living here. For one, the aircraft noise can pose a challenge given that the Airport is located right next to the area. Secondly, there are no apartments available for sale.
