Tilal City is a mixed-use off-plan community in the Juwaiza Suburb of Sharjah. It is a joint venture between Sharjah Asset Management and Eskan Real Estate Development. The AED 2billion development that is spread over an estimated area of 25 million sq. ft. will be home to around 65,000 residents. Tilal City is a carefully designed residential community where residents can work, live and prosper. It consists of four zones with two regions in each zone. Zone A, Zone B and Zone C will be the residential areas while Zone D would be a mix of residential and commercial structures. All the residential developments will surround a fifth zone, Zone E. This zone will contain a shopping mall and other recreational facilities. The huge open spaces are dedicated to parks, educational institutes, mosques and community centres. The hotel is expected to open in 2021.

Finding parking spaces in Tilal City isn’t a hassle as the underdevelopment project will feature dedicated parking spots for vehicles. Those constructing their own homes will get parking space for one or two vehicles inside the house.

Since the community is located next to Emirates Road (E611), commuting using private conveyance is convenient. For public transportation in Tilal City, residents can avail bus service from Sharjah Cement Factory bus station in a short drive of 5-minutes.

Once completed, Tilal City will feature several retail outlets and grocery stores. For now, residents can head to the neighbouring communities for daily grocery shopping. They can offer congregational prayers in one of the famous mosques of the emirate, Sharjah Mosque which is located a 10-minute drive away from the residential area. Christian fellows can visit the churches in Al Yarmook area in a 25-minute dive such as St. Gregorios Orthodox Church and Grace Evangelical Church. Hindu members of the community will have to drive for around half an hour for visiting temples nearby the community.

The residential community will feature nurseries and schools to facilitate parents with school-going children. Other schools near the community are GEMS Our Own English High School Sharjah Boys Branch, Sharjah Indian School and New World American Private School. All these schools are located within a 10 to 12-minute drive.

Those looking for higher education options will find some of the best universities of Sharjah in a short drive of 15-minutes. These include the University of Sharjah, the American University of Sharjah and Al Qasimia University.

University City Hospital is one of the best hospitals in Sharjah located in proximity to the residential community. This hospital near Tilal City offers medical services for family medicine, paediatrics, cardiology, oral medical service and internal medicine. Other clinics nearby are Al Qasimiah Medical Centre, Al Azhar Medical Clinic and Bab Al Sajjah Medical Centre.

Tilal City is surrounded by popular residential areas of the emirate. Al Tayy and Al Suyoh lie to the southern side while Al Badai suburb and Barashi are located towards the western side of the community. If you move ahead towards the west, Al Gharayen, Al Falah Suburb and Al Noaf are situated. Other residential communities nearby are Al Khawaneej and Al Atain.

Tilal Mall in Tilal City will spread over an area of 21.5 million sq. ft. featuring a 4-star hotel, multi-screen cinema, a restaurant area and a hypermarket. Other features of the mall will be a car parking area, a family entertainment centre and a wide range of fashion outlets. Other shopping malls near the community are Al Sajaa Shopping Centre and Alyoush Mall.

The shopping mall and community centre in Tilal City will feature a wide range of dining options. Residents will easily access local eateries and casual dining restaurants as of now such as Tareeq Al Himalaya Restaurant, Dawar Al Sajaa Restaurant and Najmat Al Sajaa Restaurant. These restaurants near the community are accessible in a 5 to 10-minute drive.

Residents will have to drive for around half an hour or more to visit the shoreline of the emirate. The nearest beaches include Al Khan Beach and Al Fisht Beach.

The Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club (SERC) is home to the largest indoor riding facilities in the region with a 1500-seat grandstand and riding school. The club also hosts the Sharjah Arabian Horse Festival and the International Arabian Horse Festival every year.

Another must-visit tourist spot near Tilal City is Sharjah Desert Park. It has several venues such as Arabia’s Wildlife Centre, Natural History and Botanical Museum, Breeding Centre for Endangered Arabian Wildlife, Botanic Garden and Children’s Farm. The desert park also has a café, outdoor habitat, indoor aviaries and car parking facilities.

The residential community has dedicated around 48% area of the community for family parks, paved walkways and other community facilities. Fitness enthusiasts will find plenty of gyms in the community to keep up with their workout sessions.
