The Haciendas is a landscaped sub-community based in the residential project of The Villa by Dubai Properties. Out of the series of four sub-communities, The Haciendas is the third from the left. It adjoins The Aldea from the west and is linked to The Centro to the east by two roads.
The Haciendas offers a mix of 3, 4, 5 and 6-bedroom villas for rent as well as for sale. These houses are arranged in single rows, offering delightful views of the landscaped courtyards and gardens.

The residential properties in The Haciendas include 3-bed, 4-bed, 5-bed and 6-bed villas. These houses are distributed between two distinct areas of the sub-community. The area that lies next to the main road contains six clusters of villas. Each cluster contains a courtyard that is surrounded by the houses. The circular village contains several villas that encircle a large roundabout.
Since The Haciendas is majorly a residential area, there is a small presence of commercial amenities. However, there are plenty of recreational facilities and many more are expected to be developed soon. There are paved walkways which one can use for cycling, jogging or for a simple stroll. The boulevards that run throughout The Haciendas are lined with date trees and well-manicured shrubs.

Other than the Dubai RTA bus service, there are two options for public transportation near The Haciendas. With a cost of under AED 66.12, you can hail a taxi. Riding in an Uber will cost you around AED 77 – AED 102.85. Both transport options will take you around 27 minutes to reach areas such as Dubai Marina and JBR.
Private parking spaces in The Haciendas houses feature car porches for either one or two cars. Guests can park their cars in courtyards in front of the houses.
AMENITIES, SCHOOLS AND HEALTHCARE
SUPERMARKETS NEAR THE HACIENDAS
There are two Spinneys supermarkets in The Villa. One branch lies in the community centre of The Centro and the other is present in The Ponderosa. To access the other supermarkets near The Haciendas residents will have to drive to Dubai Complex Residence. Some of these supermarkets include K P Mart, Lifco, Thomsun, Shua Al Madina and West Zone Fresh.
MOSQUES IN THE HACIENDAS
There is a mosque near The Centre gate and Masjid A’aishah Umm Al Mu’mineen is present in The Ponderosa. Other than these two mosques near The Haciendas, there are a few places along Emirates Road where residents can go to offer their prayers.
OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP NEAR THE HACIENDAS
One of the most easily accessible churches near The Haciendas is City Hill Global Church Dubai. It is located on Dubai – Al Ain Road (E66) at a practical distance of 11 minutes. Other options include Emirates Baptist Church and City of Dreams.
Located at a minimum distance of approximately 20 minutes, some of the temples near The Haciendas are Automech Gurudwara, Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, Shree Krishna Haveli and India Harnath Ke Jama Masjid.

GEMS FirstPoint School is a premium British Institute in The Villa that caters to students from Foundation Stage (FS) to Year 13. Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou (LFIGP) is certified by AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). It prepares students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 for the French Baccalaureate as well as the Diplome National du Brevet (DNB) programs.
Around eight minutes away, Academic City offers several options for higher education. Some of these include Dubai English Speaking College, Dubai Men’s College, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University and Zayed University.

Dubai London Clinic is on a four-minute drive away in The Centro. Ace Medical Centres is another clinic near The Haciendas and it is found in Tower D of Skycourts Towers, an eight-minute drive away. There is a dental clinic and a few paediatric clinics in Dubai Silicon Oasis. There is also an out-patient clinic called Multicare Medical Centre in Liwan.
One of the government-owned hospitals near The Haciendas is Nad Al Sheba Health Centre. It takes around 14 minutes to reach there. Mediclinic Parkview Hospital offers in and out-patient services as well as NICU, ICU, A&E, physiotherapy and rehabilitation facilities. It is on Umm Suqeim Road at a distance of approximately 18 minutes.
To buy medical prescriptions, residents can go to either Supercare Pharmacy branch in The Centro or the one in The Ponderosa. Some of the other nearby medical stores include HealthFirst in Skycourts Tower D and Najmat Al Sham Pharmacy in Abidos Hotel Apartment building.

The Aldea is known as a courtyard housing society that has multiple villas centred on a few shared courtyards. The Aldea is situated between The Ponderosa and The Haciendas. The most western sub-community in The Villa is The Ponderosa, which offers a ranch-style lifestyle. The Ponderosa consists of 14 large houses with built-up areas ranging from 4,700 sq. ft. to 9,200 sq. ft. Located to the east, The Centro features a school, an organic shop and many other recreational facilities.

Spinneys at The Centro and Spinneys at The Ponderosa are two town malls near The Haciendas that house a few retail outlets and supermarkets. If one wants to buy products of big labels at discounted prices, they can drive to Dubai Outlet Mall, which is just 10 minutes away. It has brands like Adidas, Vincci and Tommy Hilfiger. There is also a colourful retail shop called The Happy Place which features all sorts of toys, gift items and a play area for kids.

Oregano is an Italian restaurant in The Villa that is popular for pizza, pasta, bruschetta, etc. The Grill Pit at Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club is a fine-dining restaurant where people enjoy having Argentinian-cut steaks. The fast-food chain of KFC is based near the ENOC petrol station on Emirates Road, on just a five-minute drive.
Caribou Coffee in The Ponderosa and Ijaza Express Café near ENOC petrol station are a couple of cafes close to the neighbourhood. You can also find Starbucks in the community centre of The Ponderosa.
BEACHES NEAR THE HACIENDAS
The peaceful environment of the neighbourhood offers a pleasant living experience in The Haciendas. The calming water sounds such as waterfall cascading down the spill rocks and the bubbling fountain create a perfect backdrop for a day out within the neighbourhood. As for picnics by the sea, residents can drive to Jumeirah Beach. These beaches near The Haciendas are between 28 – 30 minutes away.

Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club features four state-of-the-art polo fields along with 520 stables, a five-star hotel, a polo academy, a riding school and several residential options. It caters to individuals as well as to small groups whether they are an adult or someone below 18. People who are enthusiastic about learning horse riding can also check out Elite Rangers Equestrian Centre near the Emirates Road (E611) and Dubai – Al Ain Road (E66) intersection.

You can access the Refinery Beauty Lounge in the community centre of The Centro after just a three-minute drive and a 15-minute walk. The Iridium Spa at The St. Regis Dubai features separate treatment rooms for gents and ladies but there are two spa suites for couples as well. In addition to that, this upscale spa includes a pool, gym, sauna and a steam room. The Iridium Spa also offers light snacks and healthy treats to its guests.
The Haciendas focuses on peaceful living so you won’t find any event taking place in the sub-community or in the entire neighbourhood. However, several happening areas within Dubailand lie close to the neighbourhood.

THINGS TO CONSIDER
The Haciendas lies in a family-oriented suburb with villas ideal for large families. The community does not include apartments but there are many to find in the neighbouring communities such as Dubai Residence Complex and Liwan.
- Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) will lead to Dubai International Airport in around 21 minutes
- The JBR Walk is accessible after a drive of half an hour
