There is only one church in Al Rashidiya and in all of Ajman, the Winners Chapel International Ajman in Al Rashidiya 1. To visit other churches, residents would have to head to part of the Al Yarmook district in Sharjah, which is 20 minutes away. The nearest temple is the Shiva Temple in Dubai, this would be a 40-minute drive away.

Wonderkids Nursery and Bluebells Nursery are two options in the neighbourhood for young children. Other schools in Al Rashidiya, Ajman include British International School which offers the UK curriculum from FS1 to Year 13. There is also the Omar Bin Al Khattab Pakistan Islamia School offering the Pakistan National Curriculum until Year 12. Al Hikama Private School is just a 5-minute drive away in Al Nuaimiya 1, it follows the Ministry of Education’s curriculum taught in Arabic.

Living in Al Rashidiya would be ideal for those who have to commute frequently to and from Sharjah. This area is in the centre of the city providing easy access to the rest of the emirate. Also, it is one of the most family-friendly locations in Ajman. What you might want to consider before moving is that there aren’t many villas or apartments with 4 bedrooms in the area. If you have a large family then one of the neighbouring villa communities would be better suited for you.
