Al Masoudi is a family-friendly community with a range of amenities to cater to the necessities of tenants. As for residences, the community offers villas and apartments available for rent in an affordable price range. Although Al Masoudi is tucked away from the central city and located close to the Oman border, the well-connected road network provides ease for commuting to residents.

It will take a 6 to 8-minute drive to reach these bus stations. Those with private conveyance can commute using Dubai-Al Ain Road that runs on the northern side of the community. Towards the south and west lie Bani Yas Street and Zayed Al Awwal Street respectively that connect the community with neighbouring areas.

There are several local grocery stores and supermarkets in Al Masoudi from where residents can buy the daily usage items. These include Shabab Nemaa Grocery, Shabab Manazif Grocery and High Life Grocery are a few of them. Grand Mart Supermarket is another grocery store in the community offering handpicked fruits and vegetables, seafood, meat and poultry and freshly baked bread and cakes. It also has a deli counter with a wide selection of salads, cheeses and sandwiches.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN AL MASOUDI
Mosques in Al Masoudi are dotted around the area to accommodate worshippers for daily prayers. Masoudi Masjid, Masjid Salmt bin Salama and Sheikh Essa Mosque are a few of them. Bin Hamoodah Mosque is one of the notable mosques in Al Ain with a capacity of 1500 worshippers. It has a separate prayer area for women and ample parking spaces for the convenience of visitors. The mosque is located a 9-minute drive away from the community.
Christian fellows can visit churches near Al Mas’oudi in a short drive of 15-minutes. These include Al Ain Evangelical Church and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Those who want to visit a temple – Gurudwara Nanaksar, will have to drive for around 20 to 25-minutes.

Parents with school-going children can find several reputable institutions in proximity to the community. Little Pearls follows the UK Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for children from 1 year of age to 4 years old. Al Masoudi is located close to the Oman border while it is neighbour to some of the popular residential communities of the emirate. Al Hili is situated to its east whereas Al Jimi, Al Qattarah and Al Tiwwayah lie to the southern side of the community. Other nearby areas include Al Muwaiji and Al Jaheli.

MALLS IN AL MASOUDI
Safeer Mall is a small community shopping mall in Al Masoudi located alongside Bani Yas Street. It has several retail outlets offering household items, beauty care products, crockery and clothes. Al Ain Mall is one of the best malls in Al Ain featuring outlets of international fashion brands, recreational activities for children, dining options, Carrefour and a cinema. The mall also has a range of other facilities for visitors such as ample parking spaces, free Wi-Fi access and bank service. Souq Al Qattara is another shopping destination near the community from where you can buy traditional Emirati items. Other malls nearby are Hili Mall and Al Jimi Mall and accessible in an 8 to 10-minute drive.
RESTAURANTS IN AL MASOUDI
There are several local eateries and cafeterias in Al Masoudi like Yudu Palace, Suhab Cafeteria and Karak Alsabeenat Cafeteria. Some of the casual dining restaurants in the community are Royal Cafeteria Restaurant, Best Biryani Restaurant and Doner Box. BEACHES NEAR AL MASOUDI
Since the coastline of the emirate is located far away from the community, residents can spend a fun day at Al Ain Oasis. It has shaded walking pathways and farming exhibits. One can reach the popular spot of the city in less than a 15-minute drive.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND NOTABLE LANDMARKS
Al Jahili Fort is a popular tourist attraction of Al Ain restored by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi in 2007. It was built as a royal summer residence and consists of a square fortified enclosure and a four-storey circular tower. The fort is now home to permanent exhibition space devoted to Wilfred Thesiger, information centre for visitors and temporary exhibition centre.
Another leisure spot near the community is Al Ain Zoo. It is spread over an area of 400-hectares and home to 4,000 animals of different species. Visitors can enjoy animal rides, parrot shows, lemur walks, animal feeding and other activities at the zoo. The Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre is an educational facility in the zoo with interactive exhibits that display the past, present and future of the UAE. The must-visit tourist spot is located near Hazza Bin Sultan Street.

Al Jahili Park is one of the popular public parks in Al Ain with three play areas, jogging track and a large screen for visual infotainment. It is located a 12-minute drive from the community. Other family attractions near the community are Hili Fun City and Children’s Garden in Al Ain Zoo.
Fitness enthusiasts can find plenty of gyms near Al Masoudi to keep up with their workout session. These include Box Park Fitness, Oxygen Gym and Fitness Life Gym Al Ain. All these fitness centres are located a 6 to 8-minute drive from the community.
Ladies can head to Prestige Hareem Beauty Centre and Monte Carlo Ladies Salon for beauty care treatments. Salon Al Emarat for Men is a gent’s salon near the community.
