Early and Primary Stages Curriculum

How to Apply to Wesgreen International School?

  • Parents must first apply online to book their child’s entrance exam session.
  • Once an application is submitted, parents/guardians receive a call from the registrar’s office to set an assessment date.
  • Foundation Stage 1 and 2 (FS1 and FS2) admission seekers are evaluated by experienced teaching staff on their level of readiness for school.
  • Students seeking admission in Year 2 to Year 6 must pass WGP English entrance exam (reading and writing). Year 7 to Year 10 must pass the WGP Entrance Exam in both English Language and Mathematics successfully to meet the academic demand within the curriculum
  • Year 1 and Year 2 applicants have to take one assessment.
  • The exam result will be communicated to parents within 24 hours.
  • For admission in Year 11 ,12 and 13, students are required to submit a copy of their Cambridge recent results.
  • Students securing admission must be registered and deposit the seat reservation fees within 48 hours of obtaining the results. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the seat.

During registration, the student must submit the following documents as required by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA):

  • Two passport size photographs
  • One copy of the child’s passport with a valid visa
  • One copy of the child’s birth certificate
  • One copy of the father’s passport with a valid visa
  • One copy of the mother’s passport with a valid visa
  • One copy of family book Khulasa (for UAE Nationals only)
  • One copy of Emirates ID (you will be asked to submit the original Emirates ID for Ministry Registration)
  • Continuation certificate from the previous school
  • Good Conduct certificate
  • Original attested report of the last examination
  • Original attested Transfer Certificate from the previous school
  • Transfer Certificate and Final Report attested by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy (for students transferring from schools outside the UAE)
  • A non-refundable fee of AED 500 for new admissions

Applicants are also required to share full details of any special educational needs:

  • Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Educational psychologist (if any)
  • Paediatric report (if any)
  • Specialist reports (EQ, speech and language or occupational therapy)
