New Indian School (NIS) in Ras Al Khaimah was established in 1981 to cater to the educational needs of the growing Indian community in the city. Having served RAK residents for almost three decades, the New Indian Secondary School has become a trusted name in the community.

New Indian Higher Secondary School is recognised by the government of Kerala, India and the Government of UAE. It is also approved by the UAE Ministry of Education and licensed by Ras Al Khaimah Municipality. New Indian School RAK Al Mamourah follows the Kerala Syllabus accepted by SCERT from Grade 1 to Grade 12 leading to SSLC and HSE examinations. However, the kindergarten section follows the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP) system.

Academic Calendar for New Indian School, Ras Al Khaimah

How to Apply to New Indian School?

New Indian School's admission process starts from 15 January for all grades. Since seats are limited, parents are requested to initiate the process at their earliest. You must collect the application form from the school office. Once the form has been completed, you must submit it to the admissions office along with the following documents:

  • Registration form duly completed.
  • 3 copies of the child’s passport with the valid UAE visa
  • 4 recent photographs of the child (6 x 4 cm) + 1 stamp size photo.
  • 2 copies of the child’s birth certificate along with the original are required if the child does not have an independent passport.
  • A copy of the original mark sheet of the last examination passed at the previous school.
  • Students (coming from outside the UAE) seeking admission in the school from Grade I upwards are required to submit the original Transfer Certificate of the school last attended (In English only) duly attested by:
    • Ministry of Education/Education Bureau of the country/Ministry of Foreign Affairs/The Embassy/Consulate of the UAE where the Certificate was obtained from
  • Students (coming from within the UAE) seeking admission in the school from Grade 1 upwards are required to submit the original Transfer Certificate/School Leaving Certificate of the school last attended, duly attested by the respective Education Zone.

New Indian School Al Mamourah charges a non-refundable registration fee.
