Parking payment at one of the busiest airports in the world is now a breeze! Dubai International Airport has launched a new system called Scan, Pay and Go in collaboration with its service partner Mawgif. Available for all of its parking lots, this DXB mobile parking payment system is a convenient payment option for visitors to the airport. Here is all the information about the new DXB airport parking payment option.
NEW DXB AIRPORT PARKING PAYMENT SYSTEM
Generally, users pay for carparks at Dubai International Airport by scanning tickets at the payment kiosks conveniently positioned in the parking lots. However, now you can make the transaction just through your mobile device with the Scan, Pay and Go method.
About this new DXB airport parking payment option, Eugene Barry, executive vice-president of Commercial at Dubai Airports, says:
“We are delighted to launch ‘Scan, Pay and Go’, which is the outcome of Dubai Airports’ ongoing approach of working closely with all of our partners to upgrade every customer touchpoint at DXB.”
This Scan, Pay and G option is now available across all car parks at the airport. Note that the existing parking payment machines will still be available as an alternative option.
HOW IT WORKS
The new DXB airport parking payment system, Scan, Pay and Go, is as straightforward as it sounds. You do not need to register online, visit websites or download smartphone applications. All you have to do is:
- Scan the QR code on your parking entry ticket that will direct you to the payment screen.
- Choose from the following payment options to complete the transaction: Visa, MasterCard or Apple Pay.
- You’ll then get 10 minutes then to exit the gate barrier.
