Salt Cave Spa in Al Ain was inaugurated by Sheikh Dr. Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan on 30th August 2023. The cave is covered with 16 tonnes of natural salt and is inspired by the salt mine in Krakow, Poland.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
Salt therapy or halotherapy was originated in Greece in the 19th century. And over the years, it has been used as a non-invasive cure to treat respiratory conditions and skin diseases. The Salt Cave spans over 171-square metres and offers different treatments to help people who suffer from allergies, anxiety, colds, congestion, flu, ear infections and hay fever among others.
To get plausible results, it is recommended to get a minimum of six sessions for six consecutive days. The cave spa can accommodate up to 35 people at a time.
