ABOUT ZONE 1

Zone 1 is located on the north-eastern side of Mohammed bin Zayed City. The parent community is named after the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and has a promising future. It has up to 17 zones amongst which Zone 1 is the first one. A peaceful area situated on the edge of Abu Dhabi is well-connected to the main city and has a good residential feel. It is a completely developed residence with some spacious villas on offer. The community is self-sufficient with an array of amenities accessible within a few minutes drives. It is located close to Al Ain Road (E22) which helps in connecting residents of the community to the rest of the emirate.

People who prefer using public transportation in Zone 1 can travel via buses. The closest bus stops are near Mubarak Al Mansoori Mosque. From there people can get buses 120, 210 and 211. Taxis are also readily available in the area.

Mangrove National Park is a mangrove forest with over 60 species of birds and a channel for plenty of water activities including kayaking. It is a major tourist attraction and a leisure spot for residents. Located at about a 16-minute drive, Qasr Al Hosn is one of the major landmark existing since the 18th century and consists of a palace and a fort. Other fun-filled places in the area are Wahat Al Karama and Al Qana that are within a 10-minute drive.

The area undoubtedly has the potential to become one of the sought-after residences at affordable rates. Few things must be kept in mind before moving in. A huge part of the area is still under construction thus it may be a little disturbing for the residents. But this inconvenience is temporary and once the construction is complete the residents can enjoy an additional number of amenities.
