ABOUT AL MURABAA
Al Ain, the fourth-biggest city in the UAE, is also known as the "Garden City" because of its greenery, parks and tree-lined roads. Al Murabaa is located close to Central District in Al Ain. It is popular because of the Murabaa Heritage Fort and Al Murabaa Heritage Festival held every year to honour the rich culture of the UAE.

COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
The area is named after the famous Al Murabaa Fort which was built in 1948 by His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Al Murabaa is a city-centric area in Al Ain with mostly villas available for rent. It is considered as the business centre of the city. The Oman border lies to the north of the area. It is a densely populated district with a mix of renovated and old villas. One also gets to see the traditional Emirati forts and cannons in the district.
The commercial area of Al Murabaa comprises of low-rise buildings. These also have apartments available for residential purposes.

There are many residential villas in Al Murabaa available in 3 and 4-bedroom configurations. The villas have a coverage area of 2,800 sq. ft. to 3,000 sq. ft. The bedrooms have attached bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. There is a spacious living area in every villa. The kitchen is semi-open and is laced with tiles and fitted cabinets. All the villas have a separate maid’s room. There is space for covered car parking in every house. Rental prices for a 4-bedroom villa lies between AED 73k to AED 75k whereas, the rent of a 3-bedroom villa is approximately AED 80k per year.
TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING SPACES IN AL MURABAA
Al Sheikha Salama Masjid bus stop is at a 5-minute drive and bus E 201 services this bus stop. For commuting to other emirates, the Central Bus Station of Al Ain is 6 minutes away from the area.
Residents get multiple car parking spaces within the villa. There are also public car parking spaces in the area, especially around commercial buildings.

SUPERMARKETS IN AL MURABAA
Living in Al Murabaa is quite convenient and there are many supermarkets in Al Murabaa where residents can head out for grocery shopping. Dawar Al Saah, Al Sourah Supermarket and Mohammed Akter Supermarket are located in the centre of the community. For larger hauls, residents can visit the Carrefour hypermarket in Al Ain Mall.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN AL MURABAA
There are many mosques in Al Murabaa. Al Murabba Mosque and Al Miqdad Ibn al Aswad Mosque are located toward the east. Sayyida Shamsa Bint Ahmed Al Suwaidi Mosque is near Al Ain Mall. Other mosques in the area include Kuwaitat Masjid, Masjid - Al Murabaa and Abdullah Al Zarouni Mosque.
Some churches are in the nearby area of Al Jahili include Al Ain Evangelical Church, St. Mary's Catholic Church Al Ain and Afrikaanse Gemeente Church. There are no temples in Al Ain which means Hindu believers need to drive to the emirate of Dubai to visit the Shiva and Krishna Mandirs.

People who are living in the district can find several schools in Al Murabaa to choose from. Future International School, International Private School and Al Ain Academy are located close to the area. Future International School follows the American curriculum, International Private School teaches the curriculum planned by the Ministry of Education (MoE), while Al Ain Academy offers the British curriculum.

Gems Medical Clinic, Al Badawi Medical Clinic and i Care Medical Center are reputed medical facilities in the neighbourhood. Speciality clinics in Al Murabaa include Al Dera Dental Clinic and Kaya Skin Clinic. Residents can also find many pharmacies in the vicinity such as Life Pharmacy, Boots Pharmacy and Al Ezza Pharmacy.
Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital is one of the hospitals near Al Murabaa. It is located just outside the community and offers a wide range of medical and surgical services. Other nearby medical facilities include Orthoplus Bone and Joint Center, Al Ain Al Ahalia Medical Centre and Burjeel Royal Hospital. These are not more than 9 minutes away from the area.

MALLS IN AL MURABAA
Al Ain Mall is a premier shopping and leisure destination mall in Al Murabaa. It was opened in 2001 and is one of the most popular malls in the city. This mall occupies over 2.5 million sq. ft. of space and showcases 350 world-renowned shops and 60 restaurants and cafes. Finding a parking space is easy too as it has 3,000 covered parking spaces spread across three levels.
RESTAURANTS IN AL MURABAA
Residents can head out to one of the many restaurants in Al Murabaa including world-renowned eateries such as Shakespeare and Co., PF Chang's, KFC, and Nandos. Other restaurants in the vicinity are Shawarmer Baik Restaurant, Applebee’s, Ahlan wa Marhaba Restaurant, Fuddruckers and Royal Mughal Restaurant. Most of the restaurants in Al Murabaa are found in Al Ain Mall.
BEACHES NEAR AL MURABAA
There are no beaches near Al Murabaa, or in Al Ain for that fact. Residents have to drive for 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Yas Beach. As Al Ain is known as the Garden City you will find a lot of green spaces in the area where you can sit and relax.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND NOTABLE LANDMARKS
To enjoy Al Ain’s nightlife, residents of Al Murabaa can spot McGettigan's Al Ain at a 6-minute drive. Radisson Club House is also 7 minutes away with a bar tucked inside. Moodz is a popular nightclub in the Al Jahili area and Trader Vic’s is a bar located close to Al Jahili Fort.
Al Murabba Fort is a landmark in the area. It was built in 1948 and is marked in the centre of the city. It was previously used as an administrative office and a celebration venue for religious festivals like Ramadan. This popular tourist attraction in Al Ain is within the vicinity.
Other popular historical landmarks near Al Murabaa include Al Ain Museum, which is the oldest museum in the UAE, Al Ain Palace Museum and Al Jahili Fort. Al Ain Oasis is also located close to the two above-mentioned museums. It houses an educational Eco-Centre and showcases the traditional irrigation and farming methods used thousands of years ago.

Trampo Extreme is located in Al Ain Mall, it is a trampoline park with many different activities, such as wall climbing, trapezes, battle beams and more. Al Ainawi Karate & Gym, Man Top Gym and Private Gym are located in the area.
Multiple salons can be found in the area including Nice Dream Salon, also known as Nice Dream Ladies Beauty Center, High Life Beauty Salon Spa, Pink Marina Ladies Beauty Center and Lou Lou Ladies Salon. Men can find Riyadh Salon for Men, also called Reyath Gents Saloon, near Murabba Heritage Fort.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Al Murabaa Heritage Festival honours the culture and tradition of the UAE. It also honours the importance of Al Murabba Fort. Several activities are held to entertain and educate the citizens. Police car displays, a horse parade, there is even a show with the police band and the K9 dog squad part of the event.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
It is a metropolitan area in Al Ain. It houses the famous Al Murabaa Fort and Al Ain Mall. The property configurations only include a mix of traditional and some newly constructed villas. However, it is not solely a residential district. It is considered a commercial area. As it is one of the best areas in Al Ain it does tend to get crowded.
