Al Helio 2 is a residential area and a sub-community of Al Helio in Ajman. It is located 15 minutes away in the Al Jurf community.

A few schools in Sharjah are also located at just a drive of 10 minutes such as Emirates National School Sharjah Campus, School of Scientific Innovation and Pamir Private School. All of these are located in the Al Rahmaniya community in Sharjah.

Although the area is distant from the main city, there are plenty of clinics and hospitals near Al Helio 2. Residents can visit the following:

Al Helio 2 is neighboured by the other small and big communities in Ajman including Al Amerah, Al Yasmeen and  Al Zahya. Being part of the parent community of Al Helio, Al Helio 1 is also located adjacent to the area. Some prominent neighbourhoods in Sharjah are also reachable within a few minutes of drive such as Al Zubair Orchards and Al Rahmaniya.

The most popular, high-rated mall in the city is the City Centre Ajman. It provides a perfect blend of shopping, dining and entertainment options for visitors. It is located at a drive of 20 minutes on Al Ittihad Street (E11).

Considering the area is away from central Ajman, there are several local restaurants near Al Helio 2. The options differ in terms of dining style and cuisine. The nearest restaurants are:

Al Helio 2 is not a coastal area, so it takes a drive of about 20 minutes to reach the nearest beach. Popular beaches near Al Helio 2 include Al Heera Beach, Ajman Beach, Zora Camping Beach, Ajman Secret Beach, Ajman Open Beach as well as Al Hamriyah Beach in Sharjah. These beaches can be reached in about 20 to 30 minutes. The most common activities to do on beaches are swimming, volleyball and walking. Restaurants and cafes are also present nearby.

Al Tallah Camel Race Course is a popular landmark located 15 minutes away from Al Helio 2. Races are held on Fridays and Saturdays. The racing season starts in October and continues till March. People for speedy rides can also go on Desert Safari in Al Bahia.

Al Zorah Natural Reserve, located at a drive of 20 minutes is inhabited by an array of wildlife species including both animals and plants. Residents can go there to enjoy the picturesque beautiful lakes and mangrove forests as well as over 50 species of migrant and exotic birds and aquatic animals. It’s a great place for nature enthusiasts, and it’s surrounded by a world-class golf course, Al Zorah Golf Club.

There are a lot of parks near Al Helio 2 where residents can spend a good time with their families in the evenings. Al Helio Park, Al Yasmin Park and The Lounge Park are some of the nearest ones. All of them are less than 10 minutes away from the centre of Al Helio 2.

Ajman Cricket Club Grounds, The Gym Sports Center and RF Fitness are among the places that residents can go to for fitness and sporting activities. The City Centre Ajman regularly holds events to commemorate festivals and important days. The Al Tallah Race Course hosts the annual Camel Festival in February which is famous across the Arabian Gulf.
