Al Dhaid is an emerging residential area located to the East of Sharjah. Primarily an oasis, it occupies a central location in the middle region of the emirate. The community is known for its fertile lands, palm trees, dense greenery and picturesque views of Hajar Mountains making it a vacation spot for many visitors.
Dhaid gets part of the irrigation water from ancient channels called falaj. Al Dhaid, Sharjah is home to many locals. The Friday Market is another popular destination selling fresh fruits and vegetables as well as other handmade items like carpets and pottery at competitive prices. Al Salwan Grocery, Al Taj Grocery and Safeer Dhaid are also town markets that residents can visit.
Churches, Temples and Mosques in AL DHAID
Muslim residents can offer prayers at many mosques in Al Dhaid. Suhaila Mosque, Anas Ibn Aws Mosque, Al Bara’a Bin Ma’roor Mosque and many others are a short walk from the residential area.

Residents can enjoy many recreational facilities close to their homes. Kalba Gardens, Suhaila Park and Kalba Corniche Park are all easily accessible.
