Sesame Street is a private nursery that follows the Core Knowledge American curriculum. It was founded in 1997 with the aim of providing a secure and supportive environment for children. The nursery has achieved its objective and has been rated Outstanding by ADEK.

Sesame Street Nursery in Abu Dhabi is adequately equipped and has outdoor and indoor play areas. There is a gym and a music room with various musical and other percussion instruments.

There is a toddler village with a supermarket, a fire station, a bakery, a bank and a clinic where kids pretend play. Children spend time in the multi-sensory exploration centre and get hands-on organic gardening experience at Sesame Street Private Nursery Abu Dhabi.

• Passport-size photo of the child.
• Copy of the child’s valid passport and visa page
• Copy of the child’s Emirates ID
• Copy of the child’s birth certificate and vaccination history report
• Copy of the sponsor’s valid passport and visa page

Original Emirates ID of both parents, child and electricity bill with the premise ID should be shown to the nursery to complete the registration in the ADEK E-sis.

Transportation is charged on a termly basis.

The nursery tries to keep kids engaged in play and learning via extra-curricular activities and events. There is a village where toddlers can engage in pretend play activities such as shopping at a supermarket, receiving medical care at a clinic, responding to emergencies at a fire station, baking at a bakery and managing finances at a bank.

In addition, the nursery adheres to strict daily safety and security checks and follows emergency procedures. Regular emergency evacuation drills are also conducted. Only authorised personnel and parents/guardians can access the premises, further enhancing security measures.
