ABOUT UAE’S REMOTE WORKING VISA
Under the new visa policies, remote workers and their families around the world can obtain a one-year residence visa to live in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or any other emirate they prefer.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR UAE’S NEW RESIDENCE SCHEME?
Anyone who wants to work with the new one-year virtual working programme must qualify based on the following eligibility criteria:
- A passport which is valid for at least 6 months
- Health insurance that includes valid UAE coverage
- Proof of employment/ownership (in case of businessmen)
- Employment contract/Company ownership documents with at least one-year validity
- Previous month’s payslip
- Bank statements for 3 preceding months
- Monthly salary or average monthly income (in case of businessmen) of at least USD 5,000
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE NEW ONE-YEAR VIRTUAL WORKING VISA IN UAE?
This one-year residence visa for relocation to the UAE would cost USD 287 per person, which would round up to around AED 1,054. This cost does not include:
- The visa processing fee
- Medical insurance coverage for the UAE
This visa is valid for ONE year. You can renew it annually, given you still meet the above mentioned conditions.
