WHAT’S INSIDE THE QURANIC PARK DUBAI?
The Quranic Park Dubai is a sprawling, 60-hectare verdant space that is inspired by the plants and miracles mentioned in the Holy Quran. While there are more attractions to open in the future, visitors can currently enjoy the two main attractions in Quran Park: Glass House and Cave of Miracles.
CAVE OF MIRACLES
One of the two attractions in the Quranic Park Dubai, the Cave of Miracles is the first one visitors come across when entering the park. This spectacular man-made cave houses interactive displays that show seven of the miracles mentioned in the Holy Quran. Expect to see the miracles of Prophet Uzair (PBUH) returned alive, Prophet Musa/Moses (PBUH) and the parting of the sea and more! There are video clips throughout the cave that visitors can make their way through, with a guide pointing you in the right direction after every clip. The audio that comes with the video is currently only available in Arabic with no English subtitles, but there are plans to include the audio in English soon.
It’s an excellent chance for Dubai residents who are curious about Islam to learn more in a fun and interactive way at Quran Park Dubai.
Located towards the back of the park, The Glass House is a must-visit for botany enthusiasts. The Glass House contains 29 plants and trees that are mentioned in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah, which refers to the sayings and traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). These include corn, olive trees, basil, barley, pomegranates, banana, wheat and more! Keep an eye out for a signpost at the entrance of the Glass House that lists all the plants and trees that visitors can find here.
Roam around this beautiful and calming space in the Quranic Park Dubai and admire the variety of plants and trees to be found here. There are plaques for each plant and tree, which describe it and the health benefits they provide. Stroll up the ramp towards the observation deck for excellent views of the Glass House and an opportunity to take some memorable pictures.
There are also restrooms in here and space for people to pray. Hungry? You’ll find a small food cart outside The Glass House that sells snacks and beverages.
Apart from the Glass House and the Cave of Miracles, visitors can also enjoy everything else the Quranic Park Dubai has to offer! Apart from lush green lawns and colourful beds of flowers, there are 12 Islamic gardens to watch out for. These are spread out through the park and contain olive, fig, black seed and pomegranate orchards. There are even kiosks with gold Arabic calligraphy that describe these what the gardens contain and their benefits.
Keep an eye out for beautiful and large fountains with a walkway that cuts between them, inspired by the miraculous parting of the sea! It’s a great photo opportunity and is on the way to the Glass House.
Visitors can relax in the shaded seating areas dotted throughout the Quran Park Dubai, while kids enjoy the multiple play areas. You’ll also find more stunning calligraphy on specially-designed solar panel trees that act as smart points in the Quranic Park, with Wi-Fi and phone charging stations.
