Dubai is all set to wow us again with a brand new list of luxury hotels looking to welcome guests later in 2021. From the ultra-luxurious to the super creative, here’s a look at Dubai’s upcoming luxury hotels.
UPCOMING HOTELS IN DUBAI
Dubai is well-known for its glitz and glamour. From fine dining restaurants operated by award-winning celebrity chefs to an immensely successful luxury hospitality industry, visitors and even residents are spoilt for choice. Now, more amazing hotels and resorts are headed our way and you can expect these exciting additions to open soon in Dubai.
Here’s a look at all the resorts and hotels that are expected to open their doors to guests in 2021:
THE RESIDENCES DORCHESTER COLLECTION
The Residences Dorchester Collection Dubai is the latest offering in the Middle East by Omniyat, one of the region’s high-profile developer. The project will be managed by the UK-based Dorchester Collection, known for their exceptional service and style.
Located close to the Dubai Water Canal in Business Bay, this will be a modern Dorchester property. Set to become an architectural marvel, the hotel includes two towers. One tower will feature fully furnished and fully serviced residences while the other will house the 5-star Dorchester Collection hotel.
Expected to open by the end of 2021, The Dorchester Dubai project faces the gorgeous Dubai Canal waterfront. A 31-storey tower houses the five-star hotel while the taller 32-storey tower is home to over 39 serviced residences. An Omniyat Properties project, visitors at The Dorchester will have access to a spa, rooftop swimming pools, private gym, yoga studio and an array of restaurants.
The hotel is the first Dorchester Collection property in the Middle East.

Hugely successful in California, Malaysia and Japan, the famous hotel chain will now make its debut in Dubai. With over 250 rooms, the LEGO-themed hotel is designed in keeping with the popular toy brand’s image. All rooms can accommodate up to five guests per room or eight guests per suite. The new hotel will also feature a castle play area, disco elevator, candy-themed exterior and other interesting features.
Located right next to LEGOLAND Dubai, the hotel will be a joint venture between Merlin Entertainments and DXB Entertainments. What’s more – LEGOLAND Hotel guests will also be able to enjoy exclusive benefits when visiting the adjacent theme park, such as the Stay & Play package which comes with free park tickets.

CORINTHIA MEYDAN BEACH HOTEL
Corinthia Hotels will also make its debut in the region on the JBR beachfront later this year. Considered one of the tallest towers in JBR, the 55-storey Corinthia Meydan Beach Hotel will offer 360 rooms and suites for guests once it opens. Guests can also enjoy cascading pools that lead right down to the seashore, several fine dining restaurants, a few Instagrammable dessert places and a beautiful spa. Not to mention, those who check-in can enjoy the classic Corinthia mindfulness, fitness and nutrition programmes.

SLS DUBAI HOTEL AND RESIDENCES
Dubai is home to the world’s tallest hotels, and SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences is yet another exciting addition to this illustrious list. The five-star hotel will feature 371 residential rooms, 321 hotel apartments and 254 hotel rooms.
Apart from luxurious accommodation, guests and visitors can enjoy several high-end dining establishments like Fi’lia, an Italian restaurant that will also operate as the hotel’s all-day-dining venture and Carna, a steakhouse by award-winning butcher Dario Cecchini, which will be located on the 74th floor.
Those who want to pamper themselves at SLS can use the hotel’s luxury amenities and facilities including the highly anticipated Ciel Spa, steam rooms, plunge pools, a salon and a gym. For a late-night drink and best enjoy one of the tallest hotels in Dubai, head to the rooftop lounge venue Privilege, overlooking infinity pools.

ST REGIS THE PALM
Next up on our list of the new hotels opening in Dubai in 2021 is St Regis in Palm Jumeirah. Located in the Palm Tower, the hotel’s SUSGISAMBA restaurant on the 51st floor will specialise in Peruvian, Brazilian and Japanese fusion cuisine.
The St Regis Palm Jumeirah will occupy the first 18 floors of the tower next to the Nakheel Mall and feature 289 rooms. The remaining tower floors are dedicated to 504 palatial apartments.
The 52nd floor in the Palm Tower has the much-anticipated viewing deck, aptly named The View. Visitors and guests can treat their eyes to the most stunning views of the palm-shaped island and the Arabian Gulf. Another must-see attraction is the hotel’s infinity pool. You’d also love to explore the wide range of restaurants that overlooking the aqua-blue waters.

THE ROYAL ATLANTIS RESORT AND RESIDENCES
The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences adjacent to its sister project Atlantis, The Palm, will be home to 231 luxury apartments, 102 suites and more than 600 hotel rooms. Standing tall, the unique 43-storey structure will also include 90 swimming pools and an infinity pool almost 90 metres above the ground. Other noteworthy aspects of this new upcoming hotel in Dubai include restaurants by celebrity chefs like Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, La Mar by Gaston Acurio, Ariana’s Kitchen by Ariana Bunday, Milos by Costa Spiliadis and Jaleo by Jose Andres.
Visitors can also choose between a private residents-only gym and the Fitness Centre at The Royal Atlantis Resort.

Another grand project by the master developer Omniyat in collaboration with Langham Group, Langham Place is also one of many new hotels set to open in Dubai. With a five-star hotel and residences collection, the development will provide stunning, unobstructed views of Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Water Canal.
Langham Place will be home to 239 fully serviced residences ranging from deluxe rooms to lavish penthouses. Additional accommodation available here includes 167 hotel rooms and suites. Apart from awe-inspiring views and a range of palatial living units, the hotel will also offer easy access to Downtown Dubai, Dubai Design District and Business Bay.

MARRIOT DUBAI EDITION
The iconic EDITION brand will mark its expansion into the Middle East’s leading tourist destination later this year. Conceived by Ian Schrager and Marriott International, the upcoming luxury hotel in Downtown Dubai will reflect the metropolis’s unique and social vibe.
The Dubai EDITION follows the success of the hotel’s first opening in Abu Dhabi back in 2019. Located opposite The Dubai Mall, the hotel will feature 210 rooms and suites in addition to swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre, pool deck dining, event spaces, meeting rooms, a ballroom and seven restaurants.

HILTON DUBAI PALM JUMEIRAH
Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah scheduled to open in September 2021 will be a glorious addition to the list of Hilton Hotels in Dubai. Located on the main trunk of the island, the Hilton Palm Jumeirah hotel will offer a luxurious experience. The stunning ocean-view rooms are expected to be highly popular. Plus, there will be no shortage of outstanding food and beverage options. The list is expected to include Tradic Vic’s, Barfly, Jones the Grocer, Claw BBQ and more.

25HOURS HOTEL DUBAI ONE CENTRAL
This boutique-style hotel is a throwback to an old school nomadic feel. The whole vibe of the hotel is rooted in tradition and culture. So, guests and visitors can expect authentic Bedouin-style greetings upon entry. You can expect desert colour schemes and an Arabian touch at this boutique lifestyle destination where tradition meets modernity.
Located opposite the Dubai World Trade Centre, the hotel will have 434 rooms with a heritage-focused narrative. RIXOS JEWEL OF THE CREEK
The new urban Rixos resort is all set to transform the historic Dubai Creek. It will have over 770 suites and rooms, adding to the long list of superlative accommodation options tourists have in Dubai.
MANDARIN ORIENTAL DOWNTOWN, DUBAI
Thanks to the tremendous success of the first Mandarin Oriental hotel in Jumeirah, another one is near completion in Downtown Dubai. Mandarin Oriental hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road reflects the traditional Emirati and Oriental heritage and will offer panoramic views of the city.
The 63-storey building will have over 250 suites, serviced apartments and rooms. During your stay, you can benefit from a club lounge, cake shop, cigar room, lobby, lounge, poolside bar and various bars.
